  1. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 27, 2015 -> 12:08 AM) Yeah, I really do not know how many opportunities he's had. He's OK but he needs to draw some walks or his career on base percentage is going to be awful beyond belief. Last year, he drew 8% of walks, this year he is at 7.1%. I believe that's actually league average
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 26, 2015 -> 10:31 PM) He has 11 walks in 167 plate appearances. He has one stolen base. I still think his 4 RBI total is embarrassing but last time I brought that up I got mocked as lead off guys aren't supposed to knock in runs. Still ... four RBIs in 167 plate appearances to me is kind of lousy. Doesn't help when the bottom of the order doesn't get on, huh?
  3. They just signed him to an extension. Relax. He's not going anywhere.
  4. Danks working real hard to give the lead right back.
  5. Davidson with a HR. Almonte with a good outing so far. 4ip 6h 1er 0 bb 4ks
  6. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 26, 2015 -> 08:24 AM) The fact that Quenneville has sat Teuvo Teravainen in this series and not Bryan Bickell is mind blowing. Not saying they would of won game 3, but sitting Vermette and Teuvo that game might have been the worst coaching decision Q has ever made.
  7. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 25, 2015 -> 11:06 PM) Bad rebound. Bad line change. This was all on Bickell by not getting the puck in deep. Unreal.
  8. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 25, 2015 -> 04:08 PM) Zobrist has played poorly and has been on the DL. I'd give up something like what we gave up for Youkilis, which would be something like Leury and Scott Carroll. Buehrle isn't having all that great a year and getting paid plenty. I'd give up something like...Myles Jaye and Cleto for him. Problem is then you'd have to figure out what to do with Danks. Lucroy has been hurt, but you still demand something in terms of trade value, but you can't trade for last year's production. Something like Eddy Alvarez, Jace Fry, Davidson and one of Micah/Sanchez. Revised offer of Montas, Alvarez and Davidson. For Rosario I'd offer Trayce Thompson, Fry, Davidson and Nolan Sanburn. Can I see Hahn doing 2012 push for the playoffs type trading? Yes. But Don't expect big splashy pieces other than maybe Rosario or Lucroy. Untouchables for me would be Danish, Anderson and Adams. What? No way lol.
  9. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 25, 2015 -> 06:38 PM) Hits keep coming. Avi knee has to be more than inflamed. He needs a DL stint. Call up Thompson
  10. Put Rodon in the rotation again, DFA Noesi, call up Beck.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 25, 2015 -> 03:40 PM) Genuinely wonder if this is one of those mistakes where someone vouched for him and that person should be fired. Yeah the defensive coordination Vic Fangio vouched for him. When the Bears originally said no, Fangio called other teams and recommended McDonald.
  12. Defense didn't help Danish much of today. Fry with a good outing, his record doesn't reflect how well he has pitched this season
  13. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150525 Charlotte- Johnson (605) Birmingham- Danish (105) Winston Salem- Fry (Now) Kannapolis- Lowry (505) Good pitching day.
  14. This team loves giving up runs in the first couple innings. It's astonishing.
  15. Thompson 1-1 Coats with a 2R HR.
  16. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150524 Charlotte- Penny (1235) Birmingham- Montas (210) Winston Salem- Dykstra (305) Kannapolis- Martinez (105)
  17. I have been on the Fulmer train the entire season, even before he shot up draft boards. With Fulmer or Jay, I don't think the Sox can go wrong with either. I just hope one of them falls to the Sox.
  18. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 22, 2015 -> 01:26 PM) One of the local photogs said it's Guerrero, so probably him. Yeah, I saw you RT that guy lol.
