I hate to bring up an achillie's heel in good times like these...But I'm sitting here scratching my head as to why Jerry Manuel had Valentin and Olivo bunting on a 2-strike count when we really don't have any good bunters on this team. Those two outs could have cost us the game (thankfully they didn't). I don't like to bring up clouds when I don't have to, but these guys have got to work on bunting MUCH more. What a lost fundamental art bunting has become!

The Sox are getting down with the hunger for winning now that KC's within sniffing distance from them. If they get within 3 games of them before the Kauffman series, I'm gonna be elated, and think we can escape Kauffman down by only 2 games. Picking up a game in each of the next two series is not out of the question.

If I don't have to work, I'll for sure be at one of the half price nights!
