Hell yea, Carlos!!! I've been saying since day one that Carlos is a major part in this puzzle and will produce for us, like he has been producing. He's tearing the cover off the ball and looks more patient out on the field. He's becoming a better all-around ballplayer.

Good to see them add something to the W column...But this was against the Tigers. They SHOULD have swept this series, so I am kind of torn about how I feel after this game. We've actually LOST ground on Minnesota this past week when we weren't playing that tuff of competition. No less than eight or nine wins this roadtrip will be acceptable in my book.

I remember seeing Cotts roughed up a few times in college; however, mostly he produced very well. Outings such as this one are not the norm for how he pitches... He's gonna be all right...just needs more work...He's got the location...Once he gets more spin/velocity on his fastball, he'll be a more complete pitcher who can succeed at this level.

At this point, I'm f***ing nervous about the Crosstown serieses this year!!! The Cubs are playing some inspired ball, while our Sox can't seem to get their heads out of their asses. They better shape up quickly, or we're gonna lose this year's season series to the Cubs! And then I'll REALLY be pissed!!!
