Today I got up at 2, showered, chilled in my room for an hour, unpacked a bit more, watched a little TV, went online, ate dinner, watched some hockey, listened in on the Sox game, then came online...What a day!!!
So, Joe Nossek will take Manuel's place, I presume, which isn't a BAD thing. Could spread some light on the fact that Nossek could be a good manager at this level.
If you go to www.whitesox.com and check out the current poll, which asks who people think will win the most games this year on the Sox...
Three percent picked STEWART!!! He shouldn't even be on that poll, since he was sent down eons ago!!! Dumbasses, I'll tell ya!!!
I think that, if the Sox are halfway decent by the break, they'll get at least two representatives in the all star game, in efforts to appease the hometown fans.
If this article holds any truth, wouldn't it be best to fire him NOW to stop the bleeding instead of allowing it to continue??? Bring Backman in for the rest of the season, and if he does well, keep him up here next year.
I think so too...In fact, I pictured him pitching at Comiskey while watching him pitch for my ISU Redbirds, which might happen within a year's time. He's a great location pitcher who doesn't get tensed up when he gets into jams, but instead pitches out of such jams. If he can up his velocity, he'll be all set to be a stunning major league pitcher.
Lets not forget the Bulls had 2 seasons within their 6 ring run, where they did not win it, or even come close really. On the other hand, the old bulls teams would KILL these laker teams, even the championship ones.
Had MJ not retired, we'd have won at least eight in a row, and the Rockets wouldn't have won s***.
