  1. ROTFLMAO!!! I think I'll replace SamME being hit in the head with this as my wallpaper on my screen!!! PRICELESS!!!
  2. He sure did!!! What happened is that he was playing it waaaaay too shallow, when it really hit against the wall, and he didn't have enough time to get back to get it, so it turned into a double. I hope Rowand doesn't keep near the Heather Line!!!
  3. You have to be a complete idiot to not know who my favorite player is.
  4. I bet that Graffy's gonna be seeing lots of playing time at 2B now, which I don't have any problem with, since he's playing great of late. He needs more playing time, because he could be one of our key contributers this season. Jiminez is OK offensively; however, his defense could improve (if only he could go back for that shallow OF fly like Durham could, I might like him more.).
  5. You're meaning to tell me there were Dodgers fans sighted in Chavez Ravine in the LATE innings???
  6. He heet home run, so he ok!!!
  7. Anyone else who went to this weekend's games at Chavez Ravine...Care to comment on your experiences??? And did ya put anything on this series with your Dad, Jason?
  8. no cotts heather... so cant comment....sorry......... Cotts is on the DL. I know that!!! I'm probably one of the closest Neal Cotts followers here, since there's a lot of meaning that he bears for me personally, as I had the pleasure of seeing him pitch in college. I didn't ask if she saw him pitch...Just if she saw him. You can be on the DL and sit in the stands the last time I checked.
  9. Well the White [sox] will wipe away the Red [sox] and Blue [Cubs] out completely next week!!!
  10. cw, Remind me...Since when does singing the 7th inning stretch, or even entering Wrigley Field require having baseball knowledge?
  11. HSC, did you get to see Neal Cotts??? If so, please comment!!! Oh, and the Sox just flat out did better than the Dodgers this weekend. Friday was a pretty gutless effort, especially frustrating in the late innings; however, Saturday and Sunday especially more than made up for it. I'm becoming more convinced that Loaiza's God and that Frank might very well turn it around and that Carlos is gonna continue being a key player.
  12. Now if only they created a black one with a silver M!!!
  13. I luv to eat M&M's!!! The red ones are the best!
  14. remind me again...... which year was it.........lol..... i foregot heather.......what happened......... I guess I should take exception to you, since they DO say the memory is the first to go... After sweeping Baltimore at the Cell this past may, the Sox followed with an embarrassing effort in being swept away by Minnesota. We can't be having letdowns like this! We need to be winning series after series. We still have 13 games left with Minnesota. Those are gonna be HUGE. I'm not gonna say that they are gonna win or lose those games, because they have yet to be played. I'm just saying that this isn't the time for a letdown after a pretty good series at Chavez Ravine.
  15. Let's all remember what happened after we SWEPT Baltimore!!! NO ROOM FOR LETDOWNS, SOX!!!
  16. Where the hell are ya! I miss you very much here! Are ya still in the mideast??? Come back safely!!!
  17. .255 average, OBP below .320. Yeah, he's not the problem. His ass needs to be traded. Look at the rest of the team!!!
  18. Yes they were. But he's had a downright s***ty season thus far. He needs to work on hitting fundamentals once again to gain some confidence, because the Lord only knows how little he has.
  19. Well, it didn't come back to cost us when all was said and done. I think everyone who's been bashing Carlos needs to stop, since he's been one of the only bright lights of this campaign. There are PLENTY of others who should be ripped and blamed for our losses before we even consider blaming Carlos!!!
  20. As little as some may think he was effected by it, I think that Paulie's participation in the Home Run Derby last year took a lot out of his swing. He had a significant second-half dropoff last season and isn't hitting anything this year (he is averaging just 1 RBI per 3 or 4 games and his messing with the Mendoza Line). Unfortunately, I don't think things will turn around for him.
  21. Hit himself in the head with wine bottles.
  22. I hope Cotts isn't hurt too badly...He's got a potentially good career ahead. Bullard, bid him peace and love from Illinois State University
  23. May you have a Carlos Lee-filled bday, GASH!!!
