Just talked with someone about the situation today and he said that Fleury will probably be back sometime next week. He said that the NHL won't be too tough on Fleury. I don't know.

The colors of the seats at a stadium should have no effect on how many people come to the stadium. Throw out yellow, black, white, pink seats there...The REAL fan doesnt' care about ANYTHING regarding the ballpark (ours is a good ballpark though). The REAL fan comes SOLELY to see the team playing. We do not need to get new seats. The ones they have are just fine. If some people changed their attitudes towards the ballpark just to give reasons why they don't go to the ballpark, then there might actually be some sanity. I am getting sick of so many people saying they won't go to the games, because the seats are blue. That's like a child coming home from the first day at a new school saying that he or she won't go to school because he or she doesn't like the color of his or her locker! How stupid does this sound?

Don't worry, I will post the rules about a week before we start the actual tournament in the contests board. The thread will be open for all questions, and we can always make ammendments, which I will put in the main post. I'm pissed off that I don't get to play RedPinStripes in the first round. I guess that I'll just have to hope that he makes it to the Championship game, because I'll be there fo sho!

Ok everyone. We finally have the first round opponent pairings for the "3 Strikes White Sox Trivia" game. What I did was write down everyone's screen name on seperate cards of the same size. I put them into a hat and had my roommate draw two out at a time. Each pair would be first round opponents. This is the opponent pairing that she came up with... Are you looking at all the rosters of every playoff participant, or just the rosters of the teams remaining?

After closely looking at the list of people who have signed up for the White Sox 3 strikes Trivia Game, I noticed that greg775 was on the list twice. This means that we have an uneven number of participants in this tournament, which means that we need another participant. If I recall, RedPinStripes told me in an AIM chat that he wanted to participate, but I told him that all slots were full. Well, do you still wanna participate, RPS? If any of you didn't sign up, still want to play, and can beat RPS's verification that he still wants to play, please post now. I'm sorry for this little curveball thrown into this game, but I think we can get one more participant. RPS or anyone else?

We will be starting the tournament at the completion of the playoffs. Each match will have its own thread, started by me, and will have the rules posted in the first post. The tournament will be in a new board, which will be created soon, for games. Good luck, and get ready with your hard questions for your opponent.

This is basically a game where opponents continue asking each other Sox trivia questions. Each incorrect answer leads to a strike for the one who answered it wrong. Your goal is to strike out your opponent (make him or her get 3 strikes) before you do. Note that both players must have asked and answered equal amounts of questions as to be fair to both, so that someone doesn't win even though they were asked one more question than they asked. I'll put you on the list now!

Cool, you're on the list! Now all we need is ONE more brave soul and then I can randomly pick opponent pairings for the first round. This is gonna be fun! C'mon RPS! I KNOW you wanna play!
