  1. His whole banned list is just a running joke, it's not like he was looking to pick a fight with him. He has explained multiple times today and thought Cusack was going to play along with it but he kind of took it seriously and it threw Dave off The whole company was talking about it and promoting it online, even Portnoy has had multiple tweets. You may not like it but Dave has given more eye balls to this Sox in the past couple years than most people
  2. Yes, those two guys ironically did not stand.
  3. A lot of fun. We stood/sat by two guys who decided to boo multiple players/coaches when they announced everyone, don't be that person. If you don't like a player or a coach just don't cheer. Yes I understand Kimbrel has been bad or Garcia has had his ups and downs but booing them is low class IMO
  4. If it isn't straight, don't swing
  5. Those clean innings were much needed
  6. Actually getting to the parking lot was a pain but once we got there it was great. Also getting out, I expected to sit in line for an hour and it was only like 10 min and we got on the highway and pack to the hotel (in Oak Brook) in 30 minutes
  7. I think I blacked out for a second, I can't even remember what I did lol. But everyone was going crazy and high fiving, such a fun and amazing moment to experience. Is there just a pure video of the home run without the announcers? I want to hear just the crowd
  8. Wow, just wow. That was so much fun to be at. After it was 5-1 I wasn't feeling great but when Garcia hit that 3 run bomb I went nuts, I kind of wish I took it all in a little more. Not going to lie after the long 4/5 innings it seemed like the energy was down, everyone put so much energy into those first few innings we were barely hanging on lol.
  9. This is the most intense game I have ever been to
  10. Man I don't know if I ever been this nervous. Just sitting the standa for last hour shaking my legs lol
  11. Garcia in right, guess Tony didn't learn
  12. For those who have been to games in the past couple months how has getting into the game been? When I went in July against the Astros the lines outside the game were insane.
  13. We had the Central locked up for awhile, LaRussa should have given Kimbrel a 2 week trial in the closers role after his struggles as a set up man and see how it went, then we would have least known
  14. We only have 3 starters for next year and possibly a 4th with Kopech but his innings will be limited, we need to bring in at least 2 starters IMO
  15. If the Red Sox get swept I believe we play at night (I thought I read)
  16. While walking with the kids this evening I thought to myself; well isn't this what I kind of expected after how we have been playing for about 2 months? Literally nothing has changed just because it is the playoffs now. LaRussa is still making weird decisions, the starting pitching isn't being efficient, the bullpen is blowing games, and the offense is still awful with RISP. Instead of trying to figure out the best position for our players to be in and trying to get home field La Russa was too busy trying to rest people as much as possible. Why did we not try Kimbrel in the closer role for a couple of weeks and see if anything changed? Why did we not try to shift more and see if it helped us? Or putting our bullpen guys in the best position every game to see how they should be used in the playoffs? We settled and this coaching staff let them settle.
  17. Please for the love of god don't make me drive 5 hours, spend hundreds of dollars only to get swept. If we can at least pull this game out that gives some hope
  18. For fucks sake Tony take some ownership and quit lying to people who aren't blind
  19. God help me if we lose on Sunday, don't want to watch us get swept
  20. Only reason Tony brought it Crochet was because a lefty was coming up who hits lefties pretty much the same as righties. And he had already pitched 20+ innings the day before and faced the same guy. Everyone thought Kopech would be coming in and of course we hear Crochet is up.
  21. Almost had a hit last time too.
  22. It just makes no sense. Hernandez and Engel aren't that different hitting wise, Engel hit the ball hard his last at bat as well.
  23. Astros are clearly the superior team
  24. 7 runs after being up 4-2. I can't believe how shitty our bullpen and manager have been
  25. Kimbrel sucks, Garcia sucks, La Russa sucks
