But its obvious that the team needs at least one starting pitcher. The sooner the team gets another starter the better off they are going to be.

Don't think anyone is upset at all. Also keeps him fresher on a team that so far, looks pretty deep.

That has a cumulative effect, just like catches getting beaten up behind the plate over the course of a season.

How the Sox shore up the pitching staff is anybody's guess right now.

He's usually been very conservative about using minor league RP arms if they need a spot on the 40. However, if you can promote a good arm who can actually throw strikes and get hitters out you can help the team out without a trade for a RP.
