Sox LH oriented lineup kills RH pitching but some of our hitters are vulnerable to LH starters. Could be a rough game tonight against Skubal.

I agree about Acuna though. That flyball he botched into a double yesterday was a joke. He is a net negative for the team. DFA.

Not sure what Acuna has to do with Mune coming back. Gonzo likely goes back to the Minors when Mune returns. I thought Jacob could be the LH DH, but Benny has taken over that role with his recent clutch hitting and power. Gonzo could be back though. He is a good player.

I remember watching Tarik Skubal's first start in 2020 against the Sox. We chased him after 2 innings. Lets do it again!

Because Mune isn’t platooned so he stays at 1B against lefties and no one is shifting around. Pretty simple connection actually.

Colson’s bat and D are both worthy of his being stationed at SS every day.

The shifting around business shouldn’t apply to him.

…or, in other words, there shouldn’t be a connection.

Agreed. Just stating that once Mune is back at 1B, it should help put an end to the shifting around as he’s not platooned.
