  1. Still can't hit with RISP. Hell we can't even get a damn sac fly.
  2. 4th Inning: Ground out to SS- Line out to 3B- Single up the middle (on curve)- Strikeout on a fastball swinging
  3. Another 1-2-3 inning for Cease. Strikeout Looking on a fastball- Short pop up to RF- Strike out on curve in the dirt
  4. 2nd inning; 1-2-3. First batter he left a curveball up a bit, fly ball to LF. Struck out the 2nd two
  5. Cease with a 1-2-3 inning. 2 strikeouts both on fastballs, one swinging & one looking
  6. What do our hitting with RISP stats look like? Besides the home runs and Castillo's 2 run double in KC I cant think of any big hits
  7. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 7, 2018 -> 02:47 PM) He’s throwing 91 mph You don't have to throw 95 to be successful in the majors.
  8. Not scoring with bases loaded and nobody out is such a buzzkill for a team.
  9. If you are going to pitch him down and away then why the shift?
  10. QUOTE (mac9001 @ Apr 7, 2018 -> 01:30 PM) Giolito's fastball velocity has been very underwhelming so far, he's down probably another 2 MPH over even last year. He is pitching in the cold and still hitting 93 at times. I suspect in a month he will be hitting 95 at times.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 7, 2018 -> 01:23 PM) Has to stop taking first pitch fastball strike as much as he has. 7 straight at bats this series he took first pitch strike. He is the lead off hitter, it is very typical for a lead off guy to take the first pitch or two. He does need to swing at it every once and awhile to keep them honest though
  12. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:50 PM) No Looks like it to me
  13. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:40 PM) Giolito has had some awful luck to start this year. Second game he's gonna pitch tomorrow and will be cold as hell. If he pitches tomorrow there is a good chance nobody will know it even happened
