Did the Clippers get a better deal for Paul then the Bulls did for Butler? -
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 08:55 AM) Play him everywhere this year and see if he can at least stick in the MLB as a Pablo Ozuna type. Dude when I first saw him hitting I thought he looked just like Ozuna.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 09:24 AM) Let's GO!!!! My draft picks were Christmas, Cody, Ramses, then got stuck with Raven Mark and Jessica are my picks

QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Jun 27, 2017 -> 02:44 PM) Eh. Difference between 3 years and 3.5 years is negligible. As you saw with the Sale return, teams are only willing to trade so much talent for 1 player. I think the offers will be about the same now as they will be in the offseason. The fact that Q has been pretty mediocre this year just makes it more likely that a good few months to end the 17 season may boost his value from its current state. Using the Sale trade as an example, I am pretty sure Moncada would not have been on the table last July, but perhaps Benintendi would have been. Some teams won't move certain guys during the season that they more be more amenable to moving in the offseason. It just depends on the situation. If the Sox get the deal they want for Q this July, they'll move him. If they don't, they'll hold onto him (as they should) for now. Its really that simple. But a team gets him for a playoff run plus a full season, that has to be more valuable. I don't think we will get much more but I do think you will have some teams more desperate now then in the off-season.

QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 27, 2017 -> 02:08 PM) I still think he stays. Offseason, he gone. To me his value is lower in the off-season then it is at the deadline.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 26, 2017 -> 09:33 PM) I'm guessing Emily doesn't want to do it these days but that's a complete guess on my part. Last I heard Ev was in law school at like Harvard or some s***

Franklin Reyes with a home run

QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Jun 26, 2017 -> 07:26 PM) At this rate he's going to be the second best pitching prospect in the system after Kopech by season's end. I think they both have huge ceilings

5 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 5 K for Hansen.. Oh and no walks

QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Jun 26, 2017 -> 06:40 PM) Adolfo HR. Hansen looking good through two. I love what Adolfo has been doing this year. Very encouraging Hansen: 3 IP, 2 H, 4 K, 0 R

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 26, 2017 -> 11:59 AM) I'm sure most of us know, but here is the s30 cast. Guy cast looks good but where are Emily and Ev? They retire? http://www.mtv.com/news/3018210/challenge-xxx-dirty-30-cast/ I like the guys side besides Ammo (WTF?) and Shane The women side seems pretty weak.

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jun 26, 2017 -> 02:18 PM) I'm embarrassed to say I thought he was black and that they brought him partially so TA could have someone to talk with in English about playing IF that isn't Todd Frazier. Wait what?

QUOTE (zisk @ Jun 26, 2017 -> 02:39 PM) Collins has more walks than hits. Will his average go up at higher levels where pitchers are around the plate more. It can't go much farther down, so yes. But that hitch in his swing won't play well at the MLB level at all.

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Jun 25, 2017 -> 12:35 AM) It's somewhere in St. Charles. My buddy works with a guy who played on the team with Mark, but I have no idea how often he actually plays. In his press conference he said he signed a contract to play on Sunday's.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 23, 2017 -> 10:17 PM) Mark Buehrle in a softball league is the least surprising thing ever. I need to figure out where so I can watch him lol. I'm sure it is in the St. Louis area somewhere

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 23, 2017 -> 01:47 PM) I will definitely shed some tears tomorrow. I did at PK's final game and the number retiring. Definitely grew up at a prime time to be a fan (I'm 26 and started I guess becoming a fan late 90s). I'm 24 and I took for granted watching PK and Buehrle play, I actually really miss watching Mark pitch. I am actually from the Jeffco area (where he went to school), a lot of people at my high school go to Jeffco after high school so it is crazy that a guy from that college, drafted that late and succeeded that well with my favorite team. My grandma's cousin knew someone who was good friends with Buehrle and she was able to get me a signed ball for my high school graduation, one of the best gifts I have ever received.

Lol glad it wasn't a change because it was awful

Did my settings change or did the board get changed? Not a fan of having to press on the next reply instead of it being right there to see.

This was great. I am so pissed I can't be there tomorrow

QUOTE (Knackattack @ Jun 23, 2017 -> 12:25 PM) I want to believe in Davidson being real, it's just really odd that he struggled so hard out of nowhere in 2014/15 but the line he is hitting at is pretty much what he has done the rest of his minors career I believe it is all in Davidson's head. He probably thinks he is too good for AAA and got down on himself when he didn't make the team when we traded for him. Then he struggles and presses way too much to try and prove himself and bam he sucks.
