  1. AA could use a catcher, I see no problem with him finishing the year off there and see if we might actually have something
  2. Bringing him up sometime would start his clock would it not? IF we are not planning to compete til 2020 what is the point of bringing him up sometime next year?
  3. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 26, 2017 -> 08:59 PM) Wow, I forgot about Hansen. Damn the Sox have some arms! With all these starters a lot will have to go to the pen or be traded off for hitting. Of course that is if everything goes perfectly
  4. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 26, 2017 -> 08:46 PM) I'm rooting for a five of Kopech, Lopez, Giolito, Dunning, Adams. Cease in the pen. Rodon traded for more assets. Hansen > Adams
  5. Marco Polo had a good game, I am excited to see what he can do
  6. Hansen has allowed 1 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 5 K through 4 Collins has a PB and an error on a throw. Jimenez with another 2B
  7. QUOTE (Sleepy Harold @ Jul 25, 2017 -> 05:05 PM) Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal Sources: #Brewers in talks with #WhiteSox about right-handed reliever Anthony Swarzak. I wonder what we could get for him, can't imagine it is anything good.
  8. QUOTE (Insp @ Jul 25, 2017 -> 01:54 PM) Engel swung on Ball 4 to strike out........ Bad AB, took 3-1 down the middle then swung at Ball 4
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 25, 2017 -> 12:24 PM) The latest CTE study found 110 of 111 former NFL football players whose brains were tested had CTE. http://chicago.suntimes.com/news/football-...-cte-study/amp/ Man that has to be tough for the NFL to find out and sad for the sport in general.
  10. Anybody surprised as hell about what Tim Tebow is doing in High A? Through 84 ABs: .310 AVG, .402 OBP, .938 OPS, 4 HR, 15 RBI, 10 BB, 18 SO I know they aren't great numbers but for a guy who hasn't played in 10+ years before this it is pretty amazing what he is doing.
  11. Jake Peter has been playing well in AAA. Hit a home run tonight
  12. QUOTE (ChiSox1917 @ Jul 24, 2017 -> 01:40 PM) Gotta figure nerves are getting to Yoan. All the future hopes of the WSox must feel like they're riding on his shoulders right now We are in a year that means nothing, why would he feel that right now?
  13. QUOTE (The Gooch @ Jul 24, 2017 -> 11:23 AM) What are they going to do when CT gets there? He is clearly on the show in the previews, but missed the first challenge... Put him in the game? He is CT, he does what he wants
  14. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jul 22, 2017 -> 10:58 PM) Yes. Ozark is awesome. I need to finish Bloodline then I will be starting Ozark, glad you guys like it so far.
  15. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Jul 24, 2017 -> 10:24 AM) As a fan of both teams, hoping for a Cubs W to help their chances for playoffs and help our chances for #1 draft choice. Hoping for Moncada to have some nice at bats in this series and also going to keep a watch on Tim Anderson. When did the Cubs sign Babe Ruth? :P This is not allowed.
  16. Why is there a huge wall in CF?
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 22, 2017 -> 04:42 PM) Burger out again Did he party too much with his dad a couple nights ago?
  18. As a fellow Sox fan from St. Louis I am really rooting for Burger.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 20, 2017 -> 09:11 PM) 5-5 for Burger What would you call that? A 5LB Burger?
  20. Kopech is throwing probably one of his best games
  21. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jul 20, 2017 -> 08:21 PM) What's his ETA? At best middle of 2019? If all goes well he finishes next year in AA, right? I would say at best it would be start of 2019. I think he probably should be in WS right now, he is too polished of a hitter for KAN
