  1. I can't believe what I just saw.. We got some s*** luck
  2. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ Aug 2, 2016 -> 07:27 PM) It was a smart-ass remark because of your belief that being on this roster is objective proof of whom is a better baseball player. But hey, don't let that stop you from running with it. Is Rollins playing MLB baseball right now?
  3. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ Aug 2, 2016 -> 07:18 PM) Right. Our roster consists of nothing but the best. All the b****ing of the last 24 hours is proof of that. Saladino or Rollins being on the roster is nowhere near the problem this team has. You suck at comparisons
  4. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ Aug 2, 2016 -> 07:10 PM) Except for people at the beginning of the year who hated the Rollins signing right off the bat, and wanted Mr. 633 OPS as our starting SS. Saladino is better then Rollins and that is proven by who is still on the roster
  5. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ Aug 2, 2016 -> 07:06 PM) But Saladino shouldn't be? This is why I hate on Tyler all the time. This ridiculous, out of proportion love for him. Also, has Tilson fielded any balls in CF? Saw his AB. Not sure how many people have to tell you that Saladino is a good utility guy that can start games when someone goes down. He is a type of bench player winning teams have IMO. Nobody is calling him our next starting SS or 2B
  6. Navarez looks better then Navarro
  7. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Aug 2, 2016 -> 05:36 PM) Lol...I love that the Cardinals' 12th rated prospect is now our savior. The sad part is there isn't much else to get excited about. This team is painful to watch outside of a handful of players. He isn't a savior to me but he is a new face and if he is good he could be a starter next year.
  8. Please look good Tilson, please look good
  9. Looks like Big Brother 19 will be on in the Fall on CBS All Access. Will start probably a week after 18 ends. It should be interesting, hopefully they bring in a cast that is more game oriented and not all about the fame.
  10. This better be the most exciting off-season every
  11. Guess nothing is going to happen like most of us assumed
  12. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 31, 2016 -> 09:08 PM) The love for prospects here is hilarious. Especially considering this organization can't groom position players to save their life. That is why we need to get them from another organization
  13. Hoping when I take a break at work tomorrow (10 central) or when I get off (2 central) something has been done!!
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 31, 2016 -> 08:10 PM) Jesus...where is the twitterverse? Incredibly silent tonight. Day before the deadline and I am seeing Wade Miley and Derek Norris tweets. Sigh
  15. Alright Rick, get on the damn phones now and make a hell of a deal
  16. We have so many hitters who swing at garbage in the dirt
  17. QUOTE (daggins @ Jul 31, 2016 -> 02:50 PM) I expect they'll trade Robertson if they can find a suitor. I wouldn't expect the return to be much more than a Tilson type. Otherwise, yeah. They're done. I don't see them trading Sale, Quintana, Frazier type players.
  18. I feel like Rodon is never going to be the ace we all thought he would be
  19. #12 prospect in the Cardinals organization From MLB: An Illinois prep standout taken in the second round of the 2011 Draft, Tilson is proving that perhaps it is not how you start, but how you finish. After missing his first full season with a shoulder injury, the speedy outfielder has put himself back on the map, including a 2015 season that saw him lead the Texas League in hits and stolen bases. Speed is indeed Tilson's best tool and it can serve him well both on the basepaths and in center field. He improved in terms of his basestealing skills in 2015, but the Cardinals would love to see him become even more aggressive, which they think will help him cut down on his caught stealing rate. Tilson has a good idea of what he's doing at the plate, albeit without power. He draws walks, drops down bunts and uses the whole field. With more experience, he has the chance to be a tick above-average in center field defensively, though right now he still outruns mistakes he makes with his jumps and routes. He has a below-average throwing arm. Tilson may profile best as a valuable fourth outfielder, though there's still a chance he can be a top-of-the-order catalyst and everyday center fielder.
  20. Tilson looks like a life long 4th OF to me but maybe he has some starter upside. I would imagine he is on the club next year as the JB Shuck or could be the starting CF if we don't find anyone else. I do like that we got him from the Cardinals organization though.
  21. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 31, 2016 -> 09:34 AM) The Yankees have talked to the Sox about Sale multiple times. This will start a Red Sox Yankees bidding war watch. I'll bet on it. Are the Yankees prospects that much better then Red Sox now?
  22. Oh cool, I am blacked out?
  23. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 06:47 PM) Hope Jenna wins and stiffs Vinnie on the money They could be the team with the lowest combined IQ of all time
