  1. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 01:13 PM) And there goes Lucchessi to the Padres. Damn man. I actually spoke to the Padres scout at a few of his games this year and last. He liked him A LOT, so that doesn't surprise me at all
  2. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 12:23 PM) Frankie Piliere ‏@FPiliereD1 now3 seconds ago #WhiteSox take take Alex Call. Really interesting toolsy college player. Loud bat, good runner and athlete. Can play different OF spots Seems like another Jacob May, Adam Engel type
  3. Alex Call, Ball State OF. Not on the top 200 for MLB
  4. QUOTE (Black_Jack29 @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 11:32 AM) Lawrie's defense seems pretty solid to me, so I don't know why RV would do that. Well you could DH Saladino. People don't want Avi in the line up anymore
  5. Excited to watch Tim Anderson play and develop at the major league level. Everyone should realize he will have struggles but the way he trends in the minors he will adjust eventually. Also I hope Robin isn't hitting him 2nd right away
  6. QUOTE (Tony @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 12:28 AM) Keith Law was on ESPN 1000 yesterday, and basically said the opposite. With Anderson lacking any type of real patience, he worries about him hitting at this level right now, not as much about the defense. Just FWIW. Not saying he would be hitting .300 or close to what he is in AAA but think he can provide similar stats to Saladino/Rollins
  7. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 12:18 AM) whitesoxdave ‏@barstoolWSD 5m5 minutes ago Chicago, IL Waiting on confirmation of Anderson getting the call and Rollins being DFAd whitesoxdave ‏@barstoolWSD 4m4 minutes ago Chicago, IL That said, I feel confident it will be announced tomorrow. Not a guarantee Confident of both or Rollins being DFAd? Hmmm Could be fun times with the Royals coming in. I think Anderson would do fine hitting 9th, just not sure about the defense
  8. Hope it is true. Not sure if Anderson will be up but it would be fun to watch
  9. Awesome. It doesn't matter who we pitch we can't beat these assholes
  10. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 09:45 PM) Cleluis? Is he still around? And yea I dont know Saladino has been pretty brutal at SS here. If Anderson is worse than that he should probably starting taking reps at other positions. Saladino has had a couple rough games at SS but has been really good besides that, it happens to the best of them. Anderson is worse defensively at SS right now
  11. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 09:40 PM) Uh Saladino's throw home was pretty s***ty and Dioner barely got the runner out despite him being 15 feet away from home when the throw arrived. Lol go watch the play again and see how difficult and quickly Saladino had to make that decision and throw. There is no way Rollins can make that throw with how slow he moves and throws the ball.
  12. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 09:38 PM) Rollins throws out Werth. Denying that would be like denying the sunrise. he also doesn't make the play at home and it is 3-2 and not 3-1, could be a whole different ball game. Denying that would be like denying the sunrise.
  13. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 09:34 PM) No more Saladino at SS. No more Robertson at closer. You know the in construction industry we always treated close calls as an accident. The feeling was that luck is not something that can be relied on to prevent disaster. Sox would be wise to heed that advice, because these two are not done playing like this. Do you have better replacements?
  14. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 07:59 PM) Fulmer having a good start. Maybe the adjustments are falling into place. 10 Ks, 1 BB
  15. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 08:57 PM) I thought the offense was snapping out of it with those three runs in the first. But, they have reverted back They got their run allotment in the 1st inning. They don't have to score anymore, right?
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 08:48 PM) That was all about arm strength. The throw wasn't accurate. It was high and up the line. But it was there in enough time to allow Navarro to get it, and get back to tag the runner out. Arm strength is part of being a good SS.. It wasn't accurate because he had to rush a bit and wasn't exactly set in a good position to throw it accurately and was pretty far throw from home
  17. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 08:46 PM) Did they seriously pick Latos over Gonzalez, or did they know they were skipping Rodon? Well since they DFA'd Latos today it looks like they picked Gonzalez lol
  18. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 08:44 PM) That was a closer than it should've been. Saladino struggles with routine plays. Yeah because throwing from the lip of the grass to home plate quickly is routine. Stop being a troll
  19. Saladino is so much smoother and better at SS then Rollins
