  1. Abreu needs to stop swinging at garbage and he could hit .350
  2. I'm surprised that didn't kill someone. That was crushed
  3. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 02:19 PM) Did we hit them on purpose? No
  4. QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 02:10 PM) MLB.tv isn't working for this game on my end - if that's any consolation. Use the old player: MLBTV
  5. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 01:39 PM) Lineups https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/592397159732883456 Why is LaRoche not playing 1B
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 11:36 AM) Surkamp is the 4th lefty on as of now. With the way Jennings and Duke are going, no need for him. Carroll is here for innings and nothing else. Surkamp was designated for assignment today. He is not with the team
  7. This guy should be suspended. I can't believe he got suspended twice but is still playing
  8. Seeing Emilio hit makes me angry again that Robin took out Johnson in the 6th inning on Friday
  9. Great job Robertson!! Now let's hope we can get a run off their bullpen
  10. Come on Jose, you had been doing so well at 1st before this game
  11. Thompson with his 2nd home run of the season
  12. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 11:44 AM) Gotta turn that 6-9 around the next 15. Two wins today would help the cause to get back to .500 after 30 games. Getting 2 wins today would look really good. That would be 2 straight series wins and an 8-5 record since the 0-4 start.
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 25, 2015 -> 05:17 PM) Left-handed hitters tend to be low-ball hitters and right-handed hitters tend to be high-ball hitters. (I could get into why, but that’s another column.) So if lefties are low-ball hitters they tend to drop the bat head — like swinging a golf club — and get under the ball and elevate it. So right fielders have more time to get under an elevated ball. Right-handed hitters tend to stay on top of the ball and that means they hit sinking line drives that hook to the line. Rusty told me that’s why we so often see Alex Gordon charging in and diving on ball hit to his right — and that’s a more difficult catch. Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt-colum...l#storylink=cpy This is the fielding bible of former Sox outfielder Rusty Kuntz. White Sox in 2016 Tim Anderson or Alex Gordon LF Eaton CF Melky Cabrera RF (moves to DH in 2017 and Hawkins is the starter) Davidson, Beckham fa or trade 3b Alexei (last season) Micah Johnson 2b Abreu 1b LaRoche dh Nieto trade or FA C Thompson as fourth/fifth OF...PR. Sanchez or Saladino, Bonifacio gone. I would prioritize catcher, then 3b...LF. In that order. Anderson, Johnson and Eaton gives you more speed/versatility/athleticism and Tim can focus more on developing his offensive game. To acquire a catcher this year means dealing Samardzija, probably. Or dealing from SP depth of Johnson, Beck, Montas and Danish....throwing in Saladino, Sanchez or Leury as well as a sweetener. If out of contention, a Samardzija deal with a promise to make a legit FA offer is logical from club standpoint, but no overpay. We are already talking about what the 2016 roster is going to look like?
  14. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Apr 25, 2015 -> 08:17 PM) Batting .400 with 3 HRs. I wish we had that at the catcher position
  15. There is a reason Niko played his best stretch of basketball when Taj was out.
