Ticket specials
QUOTE (raBBit @ May 26, 2015 -> 04:02 PM) I have two tickets on June 18th against Pittsburgh. I can't make the game any longer. 2 seats in section 116, row 11 on the aisle. Shoot me a PM, I could be interested depending on how much you are looking for. Trying to stay on a budget to see 2 games

GAME THREAD 5/26: SOX @ TOR
QUOTE (fathom @ May 26, 2015 -> 03:48 PM) +1000 With Avi out, there's no bridge from the more talented players at the top of the order to the mediocrity at the bottom. Yep, the bottom 4-5 are just not starting caliber players on a successful MLB team.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2015 -> 03:41 PM) Also need to catch the ball so that the other team doesn't get a bunch of gift runs. Looks like we are just not a good team

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2015 -> 03:16 PM) I would guess they want the better fielder in there for a higher contact rate pitcher in John Danks. Need to score to win. Don't we know that by now?

Are RHP hitting Dickey better? or is Conor hurting?

Interesting quotes from Ventura, Noesi
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 26, 2015 -> 12:17 AM) “I don’t know what the purpose is,” White Sox manager Robin Ventura said of Ramirez’s spin. “(Hector is) out of the inning if we end up playing clean." But there’s no question that a White Sox defense that ranks 29th among 30 teams with minus-24 Defensive Runs Saved had its fingerprints all over the inning. Ramirez, who ranks 20th of 29 shortstops in Defensive Runs Saved, also settled for one out in the eighth inning when he dropped a Tailor-Made double play and Smoak made it count with a two-out, RBI single off Scott Carroll. “I was happy (with the grounders),” Noesi said. “We could have made a double play and then the bases should be cleared by the next hitter.” “(The double play) should be turned,” Ventura said. “It wasn’t. It ends up hurting you. After that, Hector battled and got through it. But the only thing really good about the game was it was fast. That was it. We weren’t very good offensively. We weren’t good defensively in that situation, and you’re going to end up losing the game. http://www.csnchicago.com/white-sox/early-...ox-shutout-loss Have to feel a bit sorry for Noesi...he has been largely abandoned by the defense, and has also been the victim of at least four of his inherited runners scoring when Rodon entered with no bullpen experience as well. We score zero runs. Doesn't matter how great we do in the field. Let's start worry about actually hitting the ball. Feels like everyone is mentioning the defense when the offense has been just as bad if not worst. You can't win games when you consistently score 0-3 runs every game.

5/25 White Sox at Blue Jays
We have to be the worst hitting team in the league. This is just down right embarrassing
-
5/25 White Sox at Blue Jays
Is there anything this team is good at? Tired of all the 1st inning runs.

Trayce Thompson
I wouldn't be surprised to see Avi Garcia on the DL withing the next couple weeks and if that does happen I want Thompson up and starting

Who is going to be in the booth with Stone?

5/24 Sox vs Twins
Not sure I will understand how Sanchez hits so well in AAA and just can't hit anything hard up here
-
5/24 Sox vs Twins
If we would stop swinging at balls we could have a decent offense

5/24 Sox vs Twins
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 24, 2015 -> 02:31 PM) I sure as hell don't trust Hahn's judgement making any more deals. Everyone was happy with the deals. People wanted Melky, LaRoche, Jeff, and Emilio

a home run!

5/24 Sox vs Twins
That Eaton error just ruined everything. No way we come back with the way the offense has been hitting.

5/24 Sox vs Twins
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 24, 2015 -> 01:51 PM) I have no idea what makes people look at Soto's numbers for the past half decade and think "oh this guy's a legit contributor and a candidate starter". I think we are saying he is probably better than Flowers. That is it.

5/24 Sox vs Twins
QUOTE (fathom @ May 24, 2015 -> 01:47 PM) Soto hit very well on Friday. Why not give him another chance today? I will never understand the love the org has for Flowers. I think if Soto got the majority of the starts he would be able to get in a groove and hit a lot better than Flowers

5/24 Sox vs Twins
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 24, 2015 -> 01:47 PM) We are 4th in MLB in OPS out of the 7 spot, 28th in OPS out of the 8 spot (notably Cubs are worst and they keep putting their pitcher there so only the Angels are really worse), 11th in MLB in OPS out of 9 spot (9th in the AL). Don't really count the NL in that. What about just Sanchez? I guess Alexei hasn't been that bad but it just seems like he has been horrible when we need him most which makes it seem bad

Do we have the worst 7-8-9 hitters in the league?
