"White Sox sign Mike Moustakas to MLB deal."

Nah, but I’d sign Yoan to a milb deal next year tho. Someone’s gonna get a good year out of Yoan at some point. Feel like the Sox deserve it. But moving on is completely understandable, too.

I'm going to ask the question:

Did Getz f*** up by not trading Robert this winter?

I know none of us wanted to trade him this winter at the prices that were being floated around, but now what are they getting? Anything at all? For all we know he might end up in a Moncada situation next year and his option isn't going to get picked up.

LOLzzzzz  Your takes are something else.

Too bad they can't call up Popeye to replace Moncada.

Meh. I'd rather play Sosa. Popeye sucks.  Not saying I would have DFA'd him over Leone/Shaw, but FFS, Popeye isn't the answer to anything right now.

Didn't say it was pretty, but I think that's the best we can put together without Robert, Eloy and Yoan.

  5. They should just roll with this until Eloy is back.

Vs RHP: Fletcher CF, Sosa 3B/SS, Sheets DH, AV 1B, Colas RF, Benintendi LF, Shewmake SS/3B, Lee C, Lopez 2B

vs. LHP: Grossman DH, Sosa 3B, Lee C, AV 1b, Pillar CF, Benintendi LF, DeJong SS, Colas RF, Lopez 2B

  6. Feel for Yoan, honestly. I’m numb to it all at this point, but I do feel for him. He had a tough day yesterday but otherwise was playing hard and this was a big season for him.

He looked seriously injured but that’s also just Yo. Wouldn’t be shocked if this jaut a couple week injury versus him looking like he snapped an Achilles at first.

They don't like him. I don't think there's anything he can do to get called up. I'm shocked that he hasn't been DFA yet.

Would not surprise me if they would rather have Pham out there.

DFAing Oscar would be insane.  He still has an option again in 25!! I've said it before, and I will say it again to these bonehead takes - Sox don't have to make any real decisions on Oscar until ST 2026.  That is 23.5 months away!  Me thinks Oscar will force the issue well before that, and will eventually become a regular here.

That is definitely a shot at the Sox.

I mean…the Sox paid him more than anyone else or Liam would not have signed here. Don’t really see that as a shot at the Sox. Maybe he didn’t like the offers this offseason, but the guy isn’t even going to pitch in 24.

Well Harold claims he’s basically our pitching coach, so please ignore the poor receiving, throwing, blocking, & hitting and accept the fact our simple minds and all advanced analytics can’t comprehend the value he brings to the table.

I can’t say I really care what that guy claims to know.

    Vaughn should go to Charlotte.

I’d actually be thrilled to see that. Gives them a lot more flexibility with him moving forward. No way they do it, tho.

Schriffen's alright but lets not try and paint it like this team hasn't been the worst in baseball so far

Not a fan so far. Did get a chuckle at the the “when do we play the Marlins?” Comment tho

When does this Andrew Vaughn nightmare end?

I mean, after 2026? Guy is going no where. Certainly need him to figure it out, though.

  13. 2023/4 White Sox baseball at its finest there. Groundout to 1B. Yoan turns a double into a single not running hard. Sheets doubles which would have scored Yoan had he run. AV brutal at bat missing a hanger and then watching one right down the pipe for strike 3. And then Benintendi continued to look completely overmatched at the plate.
