Leighton is not Crede comparable since he is a career NHL backup at best. He, to his credit has improved with every year he has played, however as I recall in Windsor he was not flexible enough to be an NHL calibur starter. Unless he has really filled out his 6ft+ frame without any loss of flexibility, I don't think he will show much more than T-Blow.

He's over 6 foot and he seems to like contact so I don't doubt that he is a very effective two way player, I don't believe that he will be a Forsberg, he may prove me wrong, I will concede that he may now be the best player outside the NHL but I have not been convinced that he is the best prospect. Simply my opinion but he doesn't seem to have the finish of a real wicked NHL scorer.

I'd be interested to see what publication, perhaps I need better information because he hasn't shown to much at the Finnish Elite level. Typically the smaller NHL ice would work against him. I like that he plays bigger than most Euros but I'm not convinced that he's Jesus Ruutu.

Malaspina U is in Nanaimo, so it makes some sence. He had a decent splitter and hit 90 a few times, I was just glad to see such a good level of baseball. No way is Chris Chandler a top 10 QB in the NFL. Jamal Andersen took Atlanta there not Chandler. As for Miller, gee what a shocker that he really did sit on the bench for almost a decade, for a reason. I had the Bears favored by 1.5 on my line but that may have been before the Miller injury(not that they should be any worse without him).

I was in Kamloops for a College ball tourny that had some friends of mine playing for different teams some I thought about playing for when I go to school. Anywho I saw a kid playing for Malsapina(on Vancouver Island if that helps,probably not) he was throwing at 90mph and seemed to have a decent splitter, though he didn't pitch his best that day I gather. His name is Karl Mejlholm I think he's 18 and hear he was in the L.A. organization, is he any good? The thing I also didn't realize is that Canadian College ball uses wood bats, which was better for evaluating the kids talents I thought, anyone can find the sweet spot on a metal bat.
