Wow I kinda like it. 19 games vs the Central every year get tedious for me. I know teams need to beat their own division but I'm all for seeing different teams more often.
Time for JR to go all Albert Belle and snag Bryant for a new Sox record contract. Screw it, he can't take his cash with him and that's a real all in move.
Hahahahahaha ok Jack. When Sheets is rocking that Charlotte jersey while Vaughn is mashing in Chicago will you come back and change your tune? Actually, I don't care. This is too good of a day to spend arguing such nonsense.
Changes my opinion all of zero. Vaughn when healthy last summer showed a ton of potential at the plate. Sheets was given favorable matchups and had a few nice dingers. They are not on the same level.
He's better than Eloy in LF and has a much higher ceiling that Sheets IMO. Keeping Sheets over Vaughn is just dumb IMO. But I'll leave you to your myopic views.
He had a few nice moments last season but I don't know that he's anything special. A LH RF gives you what Sheets does w/o clogging DH or putting a bad 1B in RF.
Those numbers are right in line with what a number of us thought it would take to get it done. And the players said yes to $50M flat pre-arb pool. Too bad this couldn't have happened in December, but whatever.
Teams were supposedly allowed to talk, they just couldn't engage players or agents. At least that's what I thought. I have no doubt that they all talked behind the scenes.
$194M w/ Kimbrel is where I want to say they are. With a $230M CBT to work with they *should* have plenty of room if they are serious about completing the roster.
