Jose Abreu

I believe that, did you look at his Instagram? He has literally hundreds of pictures of himself with various baseball players

Seems like Phillies fans on Twitter believe that the picture Fathom posted has to do with the White Sox.

The "Congratulations, good luck" caption below the picture

Seriously. You guys wanted his info so badly, don’t scare him away before he can even post it

I could see that being the case given how much he has hinted at us and Harper this week.

Agreed. I just don't agree with the notion that they're some perfect FO who don't make mistakes given how much good talent they've given away over the years. Not to mention all their ethical issues

Also outrighted JD Martinez

That’s not even $30 million AAV. I don’t think it’s that impressive, nor anything he’d accept on the spot

Crazy how that seems like forever ago but it was only 3 offseasons ago.

Exactly, This means it's almost over.

I’m surprised by all the love he’s getting in the replies to that tweet. He was a complete tool to Sox fans and I have zero remorse.

I was half-joking as I'm sure both teams have wanted him since he was a draft prospect and have planned to make a big FA run at him for at least a couple years. I just think the wording of it is funny, as if the author thought that Machado was letting some huge, life-changing opportunity vanish and he doesn't have any other options

The middle of last season, that's it? I'm pretty sure the White Sox have wanted Manny for years

They thought that Manny was signing with the White Sox because of a fake Jeff Passan account tweet from 3 hours ago. Not only did they not realize that the account lacked a blue check mark, but they wrote a whole article on the ordeal and still didn't notice, not to mention they failed to realize that if it were real, other people would've talked about it in the last 3 hours. Just puzzling all around

It's all a re-run of what was on this afternoon

Could be, but now this is taking the spotlight from Hector Gomez retweeting Heyman, which I think is pretty big.

I don't think that's what he meant Didn't know that. When he tweeted yesterday, it seemed like most of the board/Twitter thought he was plugged in

I doubt he's trolling, he did say this to a doubter: I do, however, have doubts about the info he's receiving

For what it's worth (probably not much), @RichardERoeper (the guy who tweeted this initially) "liked" this response

I think we should help him get a cab.

After the Merkin interview on MLBN, Heyman came on and implied that we're in a good spot and the FO has done an excellent job selling to Machado, FWIW
