  1. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 10:07 PM) You heard it here first- James Shields' line tomorrow: W, 7 IP, 2 ER, 2 R, 7 K, 6 H, 3 BB, strikes on 68 of 103 pitches QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 02:17 AM) Shields is catching Boston at a bad time. They don't want to get swept. So Shields 1 2/3 innings, 9 runs, 7 earned, 3 walks, 1 error. If Shields gets rocked again, put him on the fricking DL for a month or so. This is absurd. He can't get rocked again or DL must be instituted. Well, Greg's already out, but I'm still going strong!

  3. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 09:45 PM) Bradley is left handed and is a better defensive CF. Offensively they are both 20-25 HR and .280+ hitters. Betts is more of a 25-30 HR .300+ hitter.
  4. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 07:43 PM) Good time for Andersons 1st steal. You mean 2nd?
  5. Well, if you try it every game, it's gonna work sometime!
  6. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 07:25 PM) Lawrie then trying a flip dedicated to Derrick Rose made it worse. Too soon.
  7. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 06:24 PM) Buckets averaged 27/7/7 in games that Rose didn't play in last year. Some of that is inflated by that huge game in Toronto, IIRC. He dropped 53 in Philly without Rose
  8. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 04:33 PM) Agreed. Reading on twitter it sounds like Gar also made mention that they're going to sit down with Noah and that Calderon is tight with Pau. Maybe Lopez is the backup if they can get one of those guys to resign? Calderon and Gasol are indeed extremely close, but I don't want Gasol back. I want Gibson starting.
  9. I get it, it all makes sense to me, but it's still tough to swallow. Derrick Rose is the star player I grew up admiring. I was 8 when he was drafted and I remember it like it was yesterday.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 03:55 PM) greg, this is the second time i have seen you use Pavlov in an example today. Thats just strange Nothing wrong with a little psychological reference! Well, nevermind, using the same one twice in a day is kinda weird
  11. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 12:25 PM) He's actually pitched at his best in high leverage situations and with runners on base this year. lmao, you keep refuting points with stats
  12. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 12:16 AM) Big Time Timmy Slim no.
  13. QUOTE (NCsoxfan @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 09:00 PM) Sale for Bogaerts/Bradley Jr and any two prospects ? I doubt Boston would do that. Therefore, they don't get Chris Sale
  14. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 08:29 PM) Boston writers will have the Sale trade to the Red Sox ironed out by Wednesday morning. The White Sox should get a robust collection of prospects that Boston writers and fans do not want. A bunch of Boston fans I saw talking online seemed to agree on Sale for Moncada and Espinoza
  15. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 03:48 PM) Saladino's not playing over Frazier, Anderson, or Lawrie so he's on the bench where he should be. Once in a while, DH Abreu, 1B Frazier, 3B Saladino
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 10:33 AM) get f***ing real. Dont give me Moncada and prospects. If Sale goes, especially to Boston, major league young players PLUS prospects are coming back. GTFO Agreed. We are not trading Sale. Not necessarily because we shouldn't, but because nobody will be willing to offer a package that is equal to his worth. Oh well, I guess we'll have to keep a Cy Young caliber pitcher around.
  17. Last year, our big winning streak ended in Boston with Sale getting destroyed on the mound. This year, our incredible one-game winning streak will CONTINUE and Sale will be much better!

  19. QUOTE (Baron @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 08:54 PM) Honestly I liked it more than Star Wars. Probably because Star Wars was predictable. Because the plot was essentially identical to that of episode IV
