Garcia and Lawrie put up very similar power numbers last year. .257/13/59 for Garcia, .260/16/60 for Lawrie

His defense at 3B is an improvement over Gillaspie/Olt, and his offense, despite the strikeouts, is an upgrade. Depending on the return, I'm not too upset about this.

I thought Lawrie used to be an elite prospect. Didn't know he wasn't even top-50.
