Was jumping in the bullpen really necessary?

Cabrera = MVP of the past week. In fact, I see an AL Player of the Week award in his future.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:43 PM) I womder if a team has ever hit 3 doubles in an inning and didn't score. I'm sure it's happened at some point

If you told me in April that in a game in which our starting DH leaves due to injury, we put Carlos Sanchez in as DH over LaRoche, Shuck, and Flowers, I'd think we would be 20 below .500.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:34 PM) The Red Sox announcers wondering what's up with the stir the pot thing Melky's doing...he's kind of taken that thing over from Eaton and Beckham and made it his own. Apparently, the Blue Jays have a similar tradition of sorts. I thought it was Eaton and Sanchez? Either way, someone should tell them what it is

Melky Cabrera has increased his average from .236 to .279 since June 20th.

"First 5,000 girls ages 12 and under will receive..." Don't think we'll get more than 5k girls

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:29 PM) We have one in the dugout, does that count? Doesn't seem Vincent Van Gogh has had the positive impact KW envisioned...although he has made Avisail an aggressive albeit ineffective basestealer. It would be nice if Eaton had Avi's attitude in that regard. Vincent Van Gogh

QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:23 PM) Who comes in for Bonifacio next time he's up to hit? Shuck? I'd say Shuck. They might do Flowers since it's a LHP. Or Sanchez.

That was a really quick half inning

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:19 PM) Bonifacio is the DH tonight. They can pinch hit for him in his next appearance but I think the pitcher takes that spot afterward. Nope, that's only if you move the DH to the field.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:15 PM) It is why you, I and others said you had to stay patient with him. Their was a history of success their and the eye test didn't see any noticeable fall-out in terms of his skills. He is regressing back to the mean (in this case, a very good thing). I presume we'd see the same with LaRoche (with slight decline due to normal aging), however, that might be impacted by his health as I think he's hurting. We know his pride is hurting, based on his earlier quote!
