My theory- before the pitch, Eaton was taking a while to get ready and he had a talk with the umpire about the call. During this, Ventura tried to start his delivery three-four times to get Eaton to hurry up. Once Eaton was finally ready, Ventura used an unusually quick motion. I think he was mad at Eaton for stalling, but he definitely overreacted.

Ventura vs Trout, Ventura vs Lawrie, and now Ventura vs Eaton. Ridiculous
