Jose Abreu

QUOTE (Charlie Haeger's Knuckles @ Jul 6, 2014 -> 02:48 PM) I want to see how big Noesi's balls are when he has the chance to peg Cano right between the 2 and the 4. Gillaspie's was unintentional. Plus that could lead to them going after Abreu, which nobody wants

I'm glad that he walked off under his own power

Gillaspie reached base all 3 times, but hope he's ok

useless Beckham

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 6, 2014 -> 02:40 PM) Should be interesting. My guess is Sale, Abreu. Then Alexei a final vote candidate

can't wait to see which Sox players make the ASG tonight

nor can Eaton

beckham cannot field today.

all these walks and we can only get 1 run off of him

You gotta run Jose

another Gillaspie walk

He definitely swung at that. Bad break

Beckham and Dunn are both due big time

Hector through 2.1 with just 21 pitches. A lot of first pitch swinging. edit- 28 through 3 innings

Nieto with a nice double but stranded at second

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 6, 2014 -> 12:13 PM) No it isn't, you of all people should want Abreu hitting third. That guy needs to hit in the first inning every time I don't mind him batting cleanup as long as it's behind Conor.

Nice to see Gillaspie back in his normal spot

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 5, 2014 -> 11:12 PM) I'll have some updated Rodon info tomorrow night. Thanks. Deadline is creeping up

His hitting streak was snapped today. He had a solid liner to deep center but Jones made a great catch. He also would've had a couple more at-bats, but Leury Garcia pinch-ran for him in the ninth.

QUOTE (woods of ypres @ Jul 5, 2014 -> 10:18 PM) No. Fangraph has its own WAR. (People usually called fWAR around the internet). Fangraphs does use B-R's war, they just call it rWAR. So fWAR is more accurate?

QUOTE (BBaum21 @ Jul 5, 2014 -> 12:11 PM) Just curious, where did you see that? Saw a page with ESPN experts picking their respective teams and Petricka wasn't found on any of them. Glad to see they all had Sale in, as he deserves it despite that DL stint. http://espn.go.com/mlb/playerratings/_/typ...starprojections

ESPN has Sale, Ramirez, and Petricka making the all-star team...

Jones Bloomquist Cano Hart Seager Zunino Morrison Saunders Miller

Eaton Beckham Abreu Dunn Ramirez Gillaspie Viciedo De Aza Flowers

I wonder how many hot dogs were sold tonight.
