  1. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Jul 10, 2014 -> 03:31 PM) I sure hope our bullpen doesn't ruin this perfect game. Let's hope Q has the arm strength to finish the job and retire all 27 batters. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Jul 10, 2014 -> 03:35 PM) If Qunitana gets the perfect game today, you'd have to imagine he'd be under consideration for the All Star game if any other AL pitchers get scratched. shhhh
  2. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jul 10, 2014 -> 03:31 PM) Abreu looks like a .300 hitter now For sure. Up to .288 now, and Alexei's just .282
  3. It would be pretty cool to have 2 pitchers with ERAs under 3 at the ASB. Quintana's was over 4 after that one inning start vs KC
  4. My God, Beckham is absolute trash. Especially hitting in front of JDA.
  5. Per Dan Hayes he's shooting for an August return
  6. QUOTE (Dunt @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 04:38 PM) They are almost identical across the board statisticallly actually, they both suck quite a bit So a lefty/righty platoon could improve their stats
  7. QUOTE (Dunt @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 04:33 PM) Have a good feeling Sale is going to slaughter tonight That's exactly what I thought the minute I did not see his name on the All-Star team on Sunday night. He'll either slaughter (likely), or try to do to much and get rocked. Nah, he'll slaughter.
  8. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 04:30 PM) Beckham isn't a better option then Wong for St. Louis. Wong is a lefty, so they could be platooned I guess
  9. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 9, 2014 -> 02:02 PM) More Beckham in the 2 hole, Gillaspie batting lower in the line up, and Flowers catching Only a matter of time before Beckham's batting 8th for St. Louis, Gillaspie's hitting higher, and Pierzynski's catching
  10. QUOTE (Dunt @ Jul 8, 2014 -> 10:27 PM) Any word on if Conor will be back before the all-star break? Can't tell if this is sarcastic. He was 3-4 today with a HR and a 2B.
  11. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 8, 2014 -> 11:27 AM) What a waste of posts. Why would the Sox trade Quintana. He is a staple for this rotation signed and cost-controlled, much like Sale. They are part of the future. Stupidest thing we could do is move Q right now. No one is going to offer anything near the astronomic cost it would take for it to be a smart move for the franchise. Exactly. You don't trade a pitcher with a 3.20 ERA who you have recently signed to a very team-friendly contract. Same goes for Petricka, he's been lights out. The only players on the MLB roster I'd consider trading are Danks, Noesi, Rienzo, Carroll, Belisario, Beckham, or De Aza.
  12. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 8, 2014 -> 11:53 AM) Awesome that his parents will be there! They haven't been to a game yet have they? All we know is that he has seen them once since their arrival.
  13. Kevin Milligan (whoever that is): Richards is the easy choice. 10 wins, an ERA under 3.00, and over 110 Ks. Come on people!
  14. Standings: Sale Richards Porcello Kluber Keuchel
  15. Hector Santiago just accidentally retweeted a pro-Sale tweet.
  16. I'm pretty scared that Richards will make a run at us. Hector Santiago has been retweeting this non-stop.
