ALDS: Yankees vs. Indians
Bet the Astros are pulling for the Yanks.

NLDS: Cubs vs. Nationals
Any guesses as to who starts for the Nat's? I'm guessing they'll start Gio and follow up with Roark in relief. More importantly, the Nat's need to figure out how to score against Hendricks.

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 11, 2017 -> 06:31 PM) Heart dropped when Happ righted himself after looking like he had no chance My wife was listening to her headphones when I blurted out " go, go, go, oh s***"" because I thought Happ was going to catch it. Then my words turned into " holy f***ing s***, it's a slam by Taylor".

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Oct 11, 2017 -> 06:28 PM) The basket coming up huge there. Kind of funny because the announcers pointed out the basket early in the game.

NLDS: Cubs vs. Nationals
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 11, 2017 -> 06:14 PM) Dusty is known for them. Sorry man, you are fighting an uphill battle, it isn’t just me. No, it goes back to the Giants. He gave a game ball to a Russ Ortiz as he was walking off the mound before the game was over in the World Series, and they lost the game You're right. Forgot all about that. Good call.

QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 11, 2017 -> 06:10 PM) Do you think he has enough gas to go nine? I am still at work and not watching. Thanks. He was getting hand shakes in the dugout so it looks like he's done. Holy s***! It's a slam by Taylor!!!

QUOTE (Jack Parkman @ Oct 11, 2017 -> 05:08 PM) Cap'n Cheeseburger is a good bet to get lit up like a pinball machine though. I'll take Kluber 7 days per week and twice on Sunday. Good one, hadn't heard that before. Not since a fan told Albert Belle he was a cheeseburger short of being Cecil Fielder. Wouldn't be surprised if we see CC go one time through the order, then Gray one time through the order and then turn it over to Green, Kahnle, Robertson and Chapman. I'm betting houses on this.

NLDS: Cubs vs. Nationals
Awesome performance by Strasburg today. Didn't expect him to be this good after being sick. That change up was filthy too.

NLDS: Cubs vs. Nationals
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 11, 2017 -> 05:29 PM) He makes terrible in game decisions that cost him games, that’s why he gets so much grief. Exhibit A was game 3 And it goes all the back to Dusty's days managing the cubs. He really hasn't changed.

ALDS: Yankees vs. Indians
If Kluber struggles again, the Indians are in trouble. Their pen can't hang with the Yanks.

Jason Werthless.

Nat's have to take advantage of Jake while he's walking everyone. Come on Werth!

If Jake's hammy is bothering him he should drink Brawndo because it has electrolytes.

NLDS: Cubs vs. Nationals
Dusty complains all season long about needing bullpen help. After much contemplation that looked more like mental masturbation, Rizzo acquired Doolittle and Madson. With a playoff game on the line, Dusty leaves both Doolittle and Madson in the pen and the Nat's go on to lose the game. Makes sense doesn't it?

Merkin claims Tilson is real
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 11, 2017 -> 08:26 AM) My parents told me Santa Claus was real too. Fake news Nah, it's his home being in the North Pole that's fake. St.Nick was a righteous dude from modern day Turkey. Oh look, there's been a Charlie Tilson sighting. Yay!

2018 MLB Draft
Yeah, Fulmer isn't the best pitcher to bring up when discussing Singer. Fulmer thrived on college hitters swinging at his stuff off the plate and we've all seen how that didn't translate well for him in professional ball. But, Fulmer has made good progress and surprised many with the chance he got in September. Singer is already a strike thrower so his ERA being higher is not that surprising. The Sox had ALOT of work to do just to get Fulmer to where he is and is still a work in progress. Singer appears to need work on refining his pitches which to me is easier to coach. Fulmer was and still is a thrower whereas Singer is a pitcher. If they were coming out of the draft together, I'd take Singer over Fulmer and I'm not factoring in their size difference either. Taking size into consideration, Singer would be an absolute slam dunk for me. And yes. I know I said I was going to hold off on this but I can't help it, y'all have lured me in.

Red Sox Just Blew Bases Loaded 0 out opportunity
QUOTE (Quin @ Oct 10, 2017 -> 11:02 PM) - Cutting up jerseys to get his way - Tried to fight opposing teams - DrakeGate And there's more. I like Sale and appreciate what he did on the South Side, but it's easy to dislike him. Meanwhile Quintana pitches for the damn Cubs and you've got people pulling for him because he was essentially the heir to Mark Buehrle You can add binocular-gate in detroit too. Not trying to pile on but those things you listed plus this one made it easy for me to accept his departure. I wish him nothing but the best but I'm moving on. Edit: I'm referring to Sale in this post. Just to clarify.

The Sexual Assault problem
QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Oct 10, 2017 -> 04:29 PM) and men, and worst of all, children Terry Crews is now saying someone groped him. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/t...ticle-1.3554191 s***, I would have paid to see Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho whoop that executives ass. Seriously though, that's f***ed up man. Glad more and more people are coming out and telling their horror stories. I hope Terry names the bastard and I'd bet Terry isn't the first. Read about Paltrow's incident years ago where Brad Pitt put Weinstein in his place and threatened him with a 'Missouri Whoopin''.
