  1. Man did the injury bug kill the Angels or what? I didn't see them as being all that good to begin with but they've been crushed.
  2. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 9, 2016 -> 07:12 PM) So the Cubs aren't trading the next Josh Donaldson for him? I really see a team like the Dodgers giving up a bunch to get him or maybe they'll go all out for Fernandez.
  3. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 9, 2016 -> 07:10 PM) That's the thing - the metrics say Avi's production isn't fluky. His swing is different, he takes more pitchers, his batted ball profile is different and the results are obviously, different. He can always fall back into his ways but this is starting to get interesting. The thing is he started to get hot, then had the minor injury and has come back hot still. That's a very good sign considering that could've been a built in excuse. "Well he was starting to hit then got hurt and is now slumping."
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 9, 2016 -> 07:09 PM) Gray reminds me a lot of Rich Harden. Look how that turned out. Doesn't mean that's how he'll turn out to be.
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 9, 2016 -> 07:08 PM) Maybe that's his new approach...see first ball hit first ball hard. He's always swung at the first pitch though. To start the year it was all low off speed and he wasn't close. He's gotten some fastballs and has been crushing them although his double tonight was a breaking ball I think.
  6. Only 1 run so far but we're at least hitting this guy for once. DP there daggummit
  7. They're gona start pitching Avi different on the first pitch soon I'd guess because he's crushing everything. Keep an eye on that
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 9, 2016 -> 06:58 PM) No thanks. Gray looks like a candidate for elbow issues. I agree. I was just guessing what the center piece to the package would be
  9. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 9, 2016 -> 07:48 PM) At this point I would give him the majority of the starts. He is way better on defense and he provides more pop at the same average Rollins does. Guess you could. Then move Lawrie to the 2 spot and Saladino bottom of the order. With Avi hitting lasers maybe he can now be behind Melky.
  10. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 9, 2016 -> 07:47 PM) Not a fa until 2020. He'll still cost the moon. This. Package around Fulmer I'm sure.
  11. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 9, 2016 -> 07:45 PM) I think Rollins needs to be the bench SS now Start Saladino?
  12. Listening while playing a game. Nice to jump out to the early lead and Miguel pitching well so far.
  13. It's nice having a top 10 pick and be 22-10 to start the year. f***ing stoked!
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 7, 2016 -> 10:36 PM) GreenSox will enjoy this stat... Marcus Semien now with 8 homers and 15 RBI's, 9th in qualified SS OPS and tied for 10th with Russell/Baez, Villar, Asdrubal Cabrera and Elvis Andrus at 0.5 WAR. Aledmys Diaz of STL already at 1.9. But how many errors?
  15. I've notice Abreu is starting to bat flip. Anyone notice this? I don't remember Jose doing this in the two previous years.
  16. This would be a very premature and silly thing to do. Let's see how the team continues to play, what we add and if we make the playoffs.
  17. Sadly, Anderson and Fulmer doesn't sniff Trout. Ya need to package Rodon as well I'm sure. The issue with that is it'd blow up our team if we moved Eaton, Q and Rodon in a package. I don't even know what the package would be. I'm sure we'd be outbid. Especially by the Dodgers or Red Sox
  18. QUOTE (hi8is @ May 6, 2016 -> 10:18 PM) I'm still pissed I'm just Abreu is alright
  19. QUOTE (hi8is @ May 6, 2016 -> 10:00 PM) I wasn't serious - just exaggerating while being pissed. Lol ok it's all good. Someone is getting beamed this weekend
  20. QUOTE (hi8is @ May 6, 2016 -> 09:56 PM) Time to hit Mauer in the head tomorrow, Jones. The ribs. Not the f***ing head
  21. QUOTE (BFirebird @ May 6, 2016 -> 09:55 PM) Avi is pretty built too.... Stanton is another one
