Bold Minors Predictions
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 08:36 PM) I'll echo that Coats sees MLB time and is probably at least an MLB 4th OF right now. Adding a few of my own... --Kannapolis has a huge season, especially on offense, led by Johan Cruz, Landon Lassiter and Corey Zangari, all of whom have big years at the plate. --Here's one people will think is nuts: Danny Hayes hits well enough in AAA that he becomes an option as LHH DH/1B option for the big club. Sees Chicago in 2016. --Tim Anderson struggles badly at the plate from mid-April through at least May, probably into June. Slowly adjusts, looks major league ready around end of season, for a September call-up. But ends up being better defensively in 2016 than offensively. --None of the starters in Charlotte (that are currently in the org) look good in AAA, and the team struggles to find someone to bridge to Fulmer. --Some surprisingly good relievers will come from Charlotte, including Aumont and Smith, possibly Wall. --Despite being prospect-laden, the BHAM offense mostly struggles, with only Alvarez and Hawkins looking good there, at least in the first half. --Danish struggles again, begins to slide down lists pretty quickly. --Everyone is looking at Adams and Guerrero in the Dash rotation, but I'll bet Lowry and Thompson put up numbers almost as good. Which is good because the lineup in Winston-Salem looks horrible. --Aaron Bummer pops up as a prospect. I hope Aumont replaces Petricka. Lowry is intriguing for sure. My main 3 to watch: Anderson, Adams and Trey M. Fulmer will be another one but he's close to the majors.

Eaton off to a fast start is key to this offense. Tonight was a step in the right direction. Frazier looked like he was pressing and trying to hit everything out. He'll settle down and take what he's given. Did hit one right at 3B on the button.

I really wish they'd keep the diamond on the side of the jersey and not the sox symbol on these road uniforms.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 10:47 PM) An insurance run or two would be nice, but I doubt we get it. Pretty weak showing for our offense today. Just one good inning aided by defensive mishaps. Eh I'll take it after what I've seen this team do the past two seasons. They'll be ok.

Atta boy jones! I wasn't knocking Robin really. I just don't like Jake in the 8th at all. He played the matchups so I like what he did. I like Albers better.

QUOTE (Tony @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 10:45 PM) No, it actually made sense. Again, wanted Duke to face Reddick, which is the right call, but if you put Nate in that situation to start the inning, he needs to be pulled. Jake may have been the wrong guy, could have gone with Albers, but that's splitting hairs. I understand why he did it. I just don't like Petricka.
