Exactly.

Jerry Reinsdorf open to selling the White Sox per Britt Ghiroli
Same here, I don’t want groups led by so and so, I want a guy or gal who has tons of money and isn’t afraid to spend it while keeping them in Chicago.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
If I was going to build a stadium in the burbs I think the best place would be around where the Eisenhower and 294 meet, it’s almost smack dab in the middle of the metro area and the CTA line that runs up and down the Ike could be extended. My second choice would be at “78”.

Good or Bad
Our franchise is a disaster, JR refuses to hire good scouts and the best people around to develop our players at both the Major and Minor league levels but to tell you the truth I thought Kopech was a lost cause but because he went to an organization that does everything right in order to win they were able to turn MK around to the pitcher we thought he was always going to be. f*** JR and his cheap and antiquated ways that have just about destroyed the White Sox franchise while becoming the laughing stock of MLB.

Hurricane Milton.
Well with 31 years in Florida we survived another hurricane, actually 2 of them 2 weeks apart with Helene and Milton. With Helene and living in Port Charlotte and even though Helene was about 100 miles out in the Gulf we still had about 60 MPH winds but what was scary was receiving Tornado warnings every 15 minutes for about 5 hours as we were on the side of the feeder bands which produce Tornadoes, fortunately none came close to us. Helene then made it north as far as Ashville NC and everyone knows what happened there, that was as sad as I’ve ever seen in the aftermath of a natural disaster. Milton hit us Wednesday night and we had gusts up to 100 MPH, we lost power and cell service was very spotty. Power was back on at 5PM yesterday which surprised me as I was expecting 3 days until we would have power again. No tornadoes as they were again in the feeder bands mostly on the Atlantic side, last I heard there were at least 40 of them with tons and tons of damage. Other areas here in Charlotte County did not fare as well as us especially if you were near the water, areas along the coast and Charlotte Harbor had severe storm surge with many losing their homes. Downtown Punta Gorda flooded during both storms. Last night I was watching a report and there was a couple living in Charlotte Park in Punta Gorda who were nearing their 90s and they lost their home to water damage, they were such a nice sweet couple and they had no family and no where to go so they were going to sleep on wet mattresses in their garage until they could figure out where to go. I’m sure everyone like me were crying like babies including the reporter who was in tears watching and hearing this sad story. We have a widow lady in our church who lost her home in Englewood during Helene and 2 couples who had mandatory evacuations for Milton, haven’t heard if they still have a home. As Milton headed north and made landfall in Siesta Key which wasn’t good for those people but if it had gone further north like original predictions and hit Tampa Bay the storm surge in the Bay itself would have been catastrophic for the city of Tampa. Still can’t believe that the Trop lost it’s dome after 40 years and countless hurricanes. Like I said we’ve been in Florida 31 years, we still love living here but if anyone has plans of moving to southwest Florida I would advise to look to homes east of interstate 75 away from the Gulf and Bays and make sure you are not in a flood zone, we have had 4 homes in our years here and never lived west of 75.

Maybe 45.

He actually played 3 games at second base in 2022 and never made an error, still think it was a mistake to trade him, his 29 homers might have won a few more games this past year.

One of the problems of the last rebuild was the lack of a true right fielder and a second baseman, instead we had AV and Sheets playing right field, surprised they didn’t try AV at second.

Terry Francona reportedly hired by Reds
My guess is we wind up with Schumaker or they bring back Sizemore, I’m OK with either guy.

Schriffen speaks...
Schriffen was between a rock and a hard place, first year on the Job and doing play by play for one of the worst teams of all time, you can’t put lipstick on a pig which he tried to do on many occasions.

19 Bally RSN's going bankrupt, 14 MLB teams potentially affected
I was one of the 20,000, hated the idea but I loved my White Sox.

If he went to a contender surrounded by better players he’d probably be an .800 OPS guy.

Benetti speaks...
I wonder if Tiger fans have gotten use to Tiger Math yet, my prayers are with them.

Dear Sox fans
Action please, not words.

If you had to live in Detroit you’d be booing too.

No, 2 are worse, the 1916 A’s and the 1962 Mets, we beat out the Mets by percentage points even though we had I more loss.

Getz asks for "patience"...
He thought he was doing the right thing but he was dead wrong in just about every move, he’s the wrong guy for the job.

Sox @ Tigers Delayed Start on now, Game 2, Avoiding 162?, Burke
Worst owner in the history of the game.

Schriffen speaks...
Tough season for Schriffen but as the season went on I think he improved, the guy is no dummy and will figure things out and will wind up being a more than adequate play by play guy.

I’ve never seen the Mets record as 120-40 -1, I was around but I’ assumed they had 2 rainouts that were never made up. EDIT Just checked with Baseball Reference, they had a game in September with the Astros end in 7-7 tie, game conditions were dry so maybe there was a curfew or a power outage. They also only played 17 games against the Cardinals so the 18th game had to be a rainout that wasn’t made up. They also have the Mets record at 40-120-1. Records are records and when they happened or what era it was really doesn’t matter. That being said some say the modern era was when the American League was formed and along with it came the World Series, others say the modern era started with end of the dead ball with Babe Ruth changing the game hitting home runs like no one had ever seen before.

Win tomorrow and we will have a better record percentage wise than the 1962 Mets. .253 for the Sox, .250 for the Mets, regardless both teams have the 1916 Philadelphia A’s beat who were 36-117 for a .235 winning percentage.

The connection with TLR might have some bearing and he could wind up managing the White Sox.

Sox Twitter on CNN/Yahoo declares worst team ever
Interesting what Nicky Lopez said, the players will move on and it won’t really bother them all that much especially with the money they make, it’s us fans that will suffer as this year will imbedded in our minds forever. Lopez might be a little upset as he grew up a Sox fan.

9/27 Sox @ Detroit 5:40PM
I have to add the wonderful teams of 1950s GO GO SOX, I was so spoiled growing up with winning baseball from 1952 through 1967, I was almost on suicide watch in 1968 when the Sox had their first losing season since 1950, had a hard time accepting a losing season.

Getz asks for "patience"...
Correct, he’s not doing it on purpose, he’s just not qualified for the job, he put together a joke of a team that he thought was going to be competitive and then when it came time to trade the few assets we had he was fleeced. He should resign after the last out on Sunday. We as fans are done with patience, no more rebuilds, we want the club to be run like a big market franchise, not the Pirates or the Royals, they need to bring in the best GM and manager available along with coaches who know what they’re doing. They also must start spending money and sign free agents while building a viable farm system with good scouts and instructors, not people who are just collecting pay checks, if Reinsdorf isn’t willing to do this then he must sell the club to hopefully someone who will do everything I mentioned,
