  1. Agree on seats down the lines, it’s the first thing I noticed and was the main flaw of old Comiskey, I would round off the corners like Tiger Stadium and cut down the size of the upper deck which looks enormous. I’m not sure how that huge upper deck could be built without posts, it would have to be an engineering marvel. Nowhere did I read what the capacity of this rendering was, these days it seems like a capacity of 40,000 is the norm.
  2. The 8-7 victory the other night was pretty impressive with an 7 run 7th and Drew Romo was very impressive last night.
  3. I agree but we need a Major League outfield, if we had at least one guy out there who could give us an .850 OPS, we might be dangerous and then there’s Quero but that situation hopefully be rectified when Teel is back.
  4. Have to win an extra inning game, c’mon guys.
  5. Good job getting out of the inning.
  6. Trout, good there wasn’t anyone on base.
  7. This team is starting to play like I thought they would, too bad they were so bad at the beginning. They should be tied for first place if they had won those last 2 games against the Nats.
  8. Rays have a very good manager and they do little things to win baseball games with good defense, good speed along with some power with Diaz, Aranda and Caminero. Pitching hasn’t great but decent.
  9. 2 tough losses, they need to start winning these kind of games .
  10. Great win, come home and continue to play winning baseball.
  11. Hays will be in LF when he’s back from his injury.
  12. I was at the 1991 game and snagged a foul tip off the bat of Carlton Fisk. About 20 fans were offering me some good money for the ball because it had a special logo commentating the first year in the new park. My son visited us about 2 months and I gave him the ball
  13. When you nibble you don’t trust your stuff.
  14. If a new park is built at the 78 it has to be a jewel like PNC park that our fans and the casual fan absolutely love and visitors to Chicago have it on their bucket list, it has to wind up at near or at the top of the list of the baseball park rankings. It should be so good that Wrigley would be a failure by comparison.
  15. Too late for me to watch the game, nice to wake up and see a good result with the bats coming alive. Was there a blue moon last night?
  16. This is not a joke, could there be a problem with dementia?
  17. The only free agents we sign are guys who nobody else wants. I’m amazed that Murakami decided to sign with the Sox.
  18. Lip said it best in his earlier post, it probably comes down to human nature with players not performing to the best of their abilities as depression has to set in knowing they are now part of the worst organization in professional sports.
  19. The 1909 White Sox finished the season with a 78-74 record.
  20. Because of a detestable owner who hired an inexperienced guy for GM who hired a rookie manager who doesn’t have clue.
