To what end, with no help on the horizon in the minors and they aren’t spending money, that leads me to think they are either selling or when the lease is up, moving.

Exactly, last offseason I kept scratching my head asking myself what the hell is this guy Getz doing. This off-season might be the most important in team history, they have to spend some money and bring in some free agents as there is isn’t much help in the minor league system. If they don’t then there something else going on and I’ll leave it at that.

Dream on, this team is not capable of anything resembling a hot streak. They will be lucky if they make it to 35 wins. I wouldn’t be surprised if the don’t win another game this year. There are AAA teams from other organizations that are better than the Sox.

Mainly because I’ve been a Sox fan since 1952 and they are still part of my DNA and what we have gone through the last 2 years is just gut wrenching.

I think the Sox were looking for more power, Chet never hit 20 homers in a season with the Sox and Kemp was coming off 2 big seasons with the Tigers. There also was a problem with Chet having a verbal agreement with the Sox making him the highest paid Sox player but then the Sox signed Carlton Fisk to big bucks and then Chet wanted more but the Sox balked and then Lemon traded after the 1981 season.

Kemp stayed one year and signed IIRC with the Yankees.

How many have been on the team all year, off the top of my head, Vaughn, Sheets, Lopez, Benintendi, Robert, Lee, Crochet, Flexen, I know the bullpen has gone through a complete change since opening day so no one there. I probably missed someone but does it matter. So really the eight I mentioned are the poor guys that have to live with the infamy of the worst team in MLB history in the modern age but they aren’t poor so when you come down to it, it’s the die hard fans that have to live with this abomination of a season.

At this point, does it really matter. I know they changed the rules but can they still expand the rosters on Sept.1st which is tomorrow.

No doubt that the Sox won’t come close to the 1962 Mets, these bums might not win another game, there should be no way in hell that Getz should keep his job after this abomination of a season, JR needs to admit his mistakes and apologize to the fans which I know is a stretch but if the man has just a small iota of a conscience he would do it and regardless of his tax situation the greedy bastard needs to sell the club.

Exactly, 3 teams from the Central will be in the Playoffs because they get to play more games against the White Sox, hopefully someone will read the riot act to Reinsdork.

Same swings over and over again regardless of the count, besides being one of the worst teams of all time, they are also the dumbest. Lopez is a joke at lead off, never tries to put the ball in play, home run swings all the time and he’s not a homer hitter, hasn’t come close all year. Has anyone on this team ever tried choking up, what a novel idea that would be. Somehow Getz has to be held accountable, he put together this horrendous team and hopefully is fired at the end of the year.

Here we go again, maybe one of these days one of these moves will actually work. I love that Getz is spending a lot of JRs retirement pension on flights between Charlotte and Chicago.
