One of these days I hope to get an explanation of why Romo continues to remain with the team while Quero is like a Yo-Yo with his trips to Charlotte and back.

He should be concerned as his OPS will soon be in the .600s.

He better concerned when his OPS dips into the .600s.

Yeah, but when you’re leading the division with only 6 weeks to go, do you just pack it in or do the right thing and try to win it.

I’m very disappointed that he seems like he doesn’t want to change his approach. He needs to emulate Mune who will go with the pitch with opposite field hits and HRs. That’s probably why they sent him to AZ last year but he forgot most of what they worked with him on.

Kolson, 0 for 5, heading down to the Mendoza line and his OPS is sinking too. My guess is the Sox will be looking for an alternative at shortstop next year.

Because the pitching sucked except for Castillo.

Mune signed with a team that lost 100 + games last year and was was predicted to win 70-75 games this year so I’m sure he has to be happy that he made the right decision.

Hopefully this showing is because the team didn’t arrive back to Chicago until 3AM and are zonked, probably not back in their homes until 5AM. Let’s see if they can bounce back tomorrow night.

No Attonacci again, Venable has to stop this lefty-righty nonsense, I guess he didn’t learn a damn thing from last night when he ran out of position players about halfway through the game when Romo replaced Bart.

Right now our outfield is a mess, not much power, B. Mont and Peters have hit the skids, I thought we’d see more power from Braden. Grichuk isn’t an everyday player. Antonacci has been pretty good but LF isn’t his best position plus Venable insists on platooning him, he needs to be out there every game and at the top of the order. I’m not sure if Doyle is going to help that much.

I agree on Quero, it’s too early to give up on him. I don’t know what went wrong with him this year and hopefully they can fix him.
