I’m sort of shocked by the Pereira DFA, I thought his performance on Sunday was a good sign of the future for him. Forgotten in all of this is Austin Hays, what don’t the Sox like about him.

Agree on the catching, just about anyone would be better the the tandem of Quero and Romo though I do still have hope for Quero down the road.

I can’t believe they sent Quero down, they must really be unhappy with his game but to keep Romo is really head scratching.

I just wish we could win 8 or 10 games in a row so we have a bit of a cushion if we run into a bit of a losing streak, it is sort of amazing that the longest losing streak has only been 3 games.

I’m on the bubble, he seems like a nice person, I want to like the guy but he just goes overboard at times and sometimes just doesn’t say the right things but I’ll take him over Benetti.

Pereira might be the hot hand now and right field at Fenway is Death Valley, it just might be a good time to let Colson recharge the batteries.

Great showing allowing the Rays 3 runs in 3 games, with a couple breaks yesterday we would have swept them. Let’s win the series in Boston with some bombs away at Fenway. If we face some lefties in Beantown I’d put Pereira in left, Ant at 2B, Meidroth at SS and sit Colson.
