  1. It can’t be soon enough.
  2. Because they gave guys like Moncada and ILOY ridiculous contracts for each having one decent year, I don’t even want to discuss Benintendi.
  3. If JR is embarrassed he would have done something constructive after last years mess, instead he gave us a team that will be the worst Sox team ever and one of the worst MLB teams of all time run by a clown manager and a GM that is in over his head but JR loves them because they come cheap.
  4. I actually added some more info.
  5. I did a little homework and looked up some of their worst seasons which occurred in the 30s and 40s and and never found a season where the Sox lost every game against an opponent, remember though back in the day they played 22 games against each opponent which made it very difficult to lose all 22 games to an opponent. In modern day baseball I’m sure that there have been many times when teams swept a season series against an opponent but you are looking at as little as 6 games so that not that is not that big of a deal. On Quora I found out that no team has ever swept a season series against another team in the days of 8 team leagues. These teams came the closest with 21-1: 1909 Cubs vs Braves 1927 Yankees vs Browns 1937 Pirates vs Reds 1945 Cubs vs Reds These teams have had perfect records in modern day baseball. 1993 Braves vs Rockies 13-0 These teams went 12-0 1988 Royals vs Orioles 1996 Indians vs Tigers 1970 Orioles vs Royals 1999 Rangers vs Twins 1990 A’s vs Yankees 1994 Expos vs Padres 1978 Orioles vs A’s 11-0 1988 Yankees vs Royals 10-0
  6. I get it, the team is bad but you left out the root cause of all of this and that is we have a despicable owner that is beyond bad.
  7. All I can say it was a nice catch but not worthy of a growl, maybe a Holy Cow lite. Honestly, I’ve probably seen a least 10 catches this season that were better and yes the growl has to go.
  8. Somewhere around that number, at least it seems that way.
  9. Please just DFA Kopech, they aren’t going to get anything for him, I never want to see him pitch in a White Sox uniform again.
  10. Too many walks.
  11. We could have put this game out of reach there but…..
  12. The guy has the tools but there’s something missing with him, could be Moncada syndrome.
  13. What the hell was Mendick thinking.
  14. They’re still working out details and nothing is official but if they get the new stadium it will be built in St. Pete a block from the Trop.
  15. They built the place in the wrong town, they didn’t draw that bad when they played at Pro Player Park. They should have built the new park around Ft Lauderdale right in the middle of the metro area with Palm Beach to the north and Miami to the south. Most of the money is between Lauderdale and Palm Beach and many won’t make the drive down to Miami. They’re doing the same thing in Tampa with the new park going to be a block away from Tropicana Field. The Rays have wanted to have the new stadium built near downtown Tampa for years but never could get a deal done.
  16. He’s a mess in the field and at the plate.
  17. C’mon Benintendi, you’re being paid 15 million a year and you can’t show some hustle on a ground out, **** this guy.
  18. He really struggled in that inning, threw a ton of pitches, he has to be done for the day which means that a game I thought the Sox would win are now going to lose it.
  19. I think we have a pretty good starting 3 in Crochet, Fedde and Thorpe, so you don’t need a major rebuild if almost half the battle is won with the starters, the starting staff pitchers were the best since June 1 leading the AL in ERA so why trade them. I say focus on the position players building around Robert, Vaughn, Lee and Montgomery. Sosa is showing he might be a keeper also. Nicky Lopez might work out in a utility role. We’re stuck with Benintendi and the only hope is that he has an epiphany and returns to the player he once was. If JR is willing to spend some money this offseason I think the Sox could be a .500 team in 2025. In 2026 a few guys from Birmingham might be ready to help and by 2027 we should be contenders but only if Reinsdorf spends some money or even better would be if he sells the team to someone who won’t run the team as if they are the small market Pittsburgh Pirates.
  20. Now 5-4 against the Guards, too bad we stink against the rest of the Central.
  21. The ball wasn’t all that deep, a Roberto Clemente or a Rocky Colovito throw would have got the runner at home plate. Robert might have but he was flat footed on the play, he should have run further back and then come in on the ball but that’s Robert. The Cleveland announcers couldn’t believe there wasn’t a throw. The game was basically over when Kopech tripped all over himself allowing the runner to get to third, can we just DFA this guy.
  22. Yeah but it’s a cash cow.
