  1. pitchers for every are tired. You think pitching in October will be easy? The only good thing about this slump is that it's going to put some pressure on Kenny Willliams to make some kind of a move. He doesn't have many options, considering every team except St. Louis gets a cracked at guys on waivers before we do. But we were flat out awful in this series against the 8th or 9th best team in the league.
  2. We aren't going to clinch anything any time if we don't start playing better. the closer the lead gets the tighter this team will play. and it's already playing awfully tight. If we blow a 15-game lead, it's going to become a big national story. Ozzie and the boyz will start getting mighty cranky answering questions about how close Cleveland has inched. It ain't going to be pleasant. Not one bit. Maybe Joe Borchard and Jamie Burke can save the day.
  3. we need the Tigers to be great tonight -- and then stink he next four days.
  4. in case you're wondering we need Mike Maroth -- ERA 4.98 -- to step forward. Our life is in your hands Mikey and Alan Trammell. Don't let us down.
  5. we're praying for help from the Tigers tonight and the Twinkies this weekend. such a wonderful feeling
  6. we're in deep, deep, deep trouble. today. this week. For September., And this season. Seen enough for today.
  7. Some slide some wheels. some run
  8. sad that we're making this guy look like Nolan Ryan
  9. bailed out Willie's BS effort at second. can somebody step forward with some offense?
  10. bring back D'Angelo. Can anybody here catch the ball
  11. because Crede on the bench is a big lift to our offense. Here's to Joe
  12. that's horse s***. that ball was wayyyyyy low
  13. hargrove should let us win. why would he want to help Cleveland after the way they treated him?
  14. step up Aaron Anderson wants your job
  15. I'm starting to wonder what Anderson was doing in Charlotte all summer. wonder if we could make him a third baseman. He pitched in college, too, remember
  16. pitiful try the squeeze next time
  17. s*** carl step up or the call goes out for Junior
  18. wild pitch would be fine with me
  19. hit it to center reed has the worst arm in the group.
  20. Dye double was the first extra base hit allowed by Phenom Felix Anderson's blast was the first homer the kid has allowed. Anderson looks like a player to me.
  21. Pods getting on helps Iguchi. Gives him more room to shoot those balls into right field. It was no accident that we were scoring all those first inning runs the first half of the season and getting the lead in nearly every game. If we can survive this weekend and get Pods back healthy, we should be more confident and potent with the sticks.
