  1. A Row is a keeper. Or a grinder. Or Mr. Guts. Whatever you call him, he's been strong this season
  2. A Row 7 for 16 with three doubles and a home run in the series. One good player in one awful weekend. props to ARow, who has established himself in the big leagues this year
  3. A Row 7 for 16 with three doubles and a home run in the series. Props to A Row
  4. Do you believe in miracles? YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
  5. That's two, although for a second I wondered how well that one was hit
  6. Tigers are all taking lots of pitches it's called patience sometimes it works
  7. that's one appears that as Shingo goes around the league the word is to lay off his low pitches
  8. borderline call on strike two I'll take it
  9. what the heck is going on with the walks? killllllerrrrs
  10. A Row = Testicles. Makes up for his fielding misplay thank u for the breathing room
  11. flip, willie, you got two strikes on you. do what koskie does and let the ball hit you
  12. willie, rowand, timo
  13. we need to show some testicles and score a couple of runs in the ninth I'm not counting on it, but that's what a good team would do
  14. pitiful we're hanging on for a miracle not to be swept four games by a very mediocre team. draw your own conclusions.
  15. marte pitching like a guy with a sore arm
  16. It's official: We're awful
  17. if we lose this game ............
  18. cmon Freddy, let's not have to count on Mike Jaxson
  19. This just in: Ross Gload is slow. He cannot steal a base. Somebody inform Ozzie. Back to regularly scheduled programming.
  20. these are the things you worry about when you have lost 56 in a row
  21. Willie got thrown out by 2 miles earlier in this game. That should NEVER happen to a guy with his speed. Not saying he should make it every time. But it should at least be a close play. Obviously, he's got no clue how to build a leadoff, read a pitcher and steal the base. Get him a base-stealing coach this winter.
  22. don't even want to consider the idea of losing a fifth straight game to the Tigers.
  23. this is life without Frank and Maggs. And it ain't very pretty
  24. Cubs paid a stiff price, but they obviously believe that if they can get healthy and win the wild card they will be tough to beat in October with that starting staff. I like the Sox trade Loaiza was great last season, but reverted to his career form this year. He WAS NOT throwing inside. He lost velocity. And he was giving up lots of long balls. Plus, he acted perturbed when the Sox got Garcia and gave him a new deal. No way he was going to get a long-term deal from KW. So it's a plus. What's more alarming is the Twinkies have looked at the way we're playing and decided they can beat us by holding pat. That, folks, is disrespect of the highest level.
