What's the point of even voting? I can tell you right now what the AL starting line up will be: C Jorge Posada 1B Jason Giambi 2B Bret Boone/ Alfonso Soriano SS Derek Jeter 3B Alex Rodriguez OF Hideki Matsuo OF Ichiro OF Gary Sheffield/ maybe Vlad if he can get a good backing from the Angeles fans The weird thing is that the NL line-ups are a lot better balanced than the AL ones, and have been for the last couple of years. Fans should not be the sole people involved in picking All Star rosters. They had their chance and they blew it. They should have had that ability taken away after the 2001 All-Mariner team Bulls***.

I wouldn't be surprised that come mid-May, Reed is patrolling center for the Pale Hose...I really hope an NL team (that's not the cubs) signs Beltran next season, so the Sox never have to see him again. Or the Sox could just sign him...Good teams take advantage of the other teams mistakes. Last year the Sox never seemed to take advantage of an error botched play etc., They did exactly the opposite in the bottom of the 7th.
