  1. Brutal turn of events there.
  2. No chance they overturn this. Such a bad luck game so far.
  3. Just get a run home here, Austin.
  4. HUGE at bat for Hector right there! Wow. My adrenal is going.
  5. After an awful start, Johnson was able to have a pretty clean past 2 innings. At least he got them through 5. Pen can't give up runs like they did last night.
  6. Just think, If Mat Latos didn't show he did in his first handful of starts, this entire season looks completely different.
  7. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 5, 2016 -> 07:01 PM) It's beyond frustrating that we have no patience in the big moments Abreu has really hurt them tonight. Two huge spots & nothing to show for it. Have to think the chances keep coming but will they capitalize enough to keep themselves in it?
  8. This has been a brutal game so far. So many missed opportunities. Incredibly frustrating. Luckily only in the 5th down 2.
  9. Am I the only one a bit butthurt today that they took the L last night? I know it's a long season (162 games to be exact) but after such a strong start, I'm not used to seeing them lose.
  10. Avi's back. Lineup: RF Eaton, SS Rollins, 1B Abreu, 3B Frazier, LF Cabrera, 2B Lawrie, DH Garcia, C Sanchez, CF Jackson. SP Johnson.
  11. This was a game I had them penciled in to lose since seeing the pitching matchup but had no idea it would be this bad in terms of hitting... Ah well, 10-6 still a nice start. Playing a winning team this weekend though.
  12. Shuck optioned to Charlotte, pitcher coming up tomorrow per Merkin.
  13. This ball game is ova! 7-2 feels pretty damn nice.
  14. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 12:22 PM) I'd be getting Robertson up in situations like these For a 7 out save?
  15. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 12:12 PM) Something odd is happening. The Sox are the ones padding leads late and the other team is the one falling further behind. Every time they take a close game into the later innings I get nervous. I'm learning to trust them though & they've done a great job so far.
  16. Just hoping they bring in Albers here. Call it a day for Latos & let the pen finish this off.
  17. This has the potential to be a dangerous bottom half of the 6th...
  18. This needs to be Quintana's last inning. He's dancing with the devil, here.
  19. Two out hitting has got to pick up... Two grand opportunities to pad the lead & can't get it done.
  20. First game of the year where I can't actually watch it, since I'm at work... I think the frustration on these "break the game open" opportunities are intensified because of it.
  21. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Apr 9, 2016 -> 02:32 PM) Win tomorrow and send them back to the abyss from whence they came. Judging by the forecast, I'd be shocked to see them get the game in tomorrow.
  22. Looking at the weather for tomorrow, there is no chance they get the game in tomorrow.
  23. Austin Jackson would have 3 HRs if this was a normal day.
  24. Matt Albers is a straight up G. I can't believe no one else offered him anything. Was very happy to see him back.
