Just keeps getting worse annd worse. He would be leading our team in average, hrs, rbis right now. He now has 11 HRs in his last 17 games. Not too mention he is the best clubhouse guy we had. And we traded him for a middle of the road prospect coming back from injury. How many years of control did we have?

We talk about how bad the Beni signing was. 15 million per year for 5 years. But I happened to see a guy I forgot got a huge deal that make ours look pretty decent. Anthony Rendon might go down as one of the worst signings ever. 7 years 245 million. He has 22 HRs in 5 years so far, only 850ABs. Beni has 17 hrs and almost 900 ABs. He has produced a 1.6 WAR. Rendon is making 38 million per year this year and the next 2. Then there is Kris Bryant, 17 HRs in 3 years and they have him for 27 million per year for 4 more years after this one. So I was wondering how many other contracts are out there way worse than AB's.

Could it really be any worse? You could hire some church league softball guys and it would be tough for them to lose 21 straight games.

It will be the O's for Mullins, Mountcastle and a couple 19 year olds. Those guys will help us to not have the worst record ever and JR and Getz will take their victory lap. I have absolutely zero faith in Getz getting anything of value from any player left on our roster. He made the worst trade of the season so far and its not even close. Anyone making Rick Hahn and Kenny look good is a moron.

I just cant believe that we couldnt get 1 player from the Cardinals. Last time we at least got the immortal Charlie Tilson. On second thought maybe its better we didnt get someone from them. Charlie gave us -1,6 WAR in his career.
