The positive is eisert is about to be 29 and is a -.2 WAR this year and really shouldn't be on a ML roster. So we traded a guy who had no position to play in the team who would be a backup for the#34 pick and a RP who is young with upside. And this also makes the draft fun as hell

Woods obviously isn't ML level ready. So now we need another ML RP. It could play if in the long run. Maybe there was little market for Jacob G. Trade makes us worse right now.

It's crazy how in the moment people emotionally react. Grant Taylor gets a 1,2,3 save and he is the second coming of Mariano Rivera. Next night he walks 2 and let's up a run and those same posters start saying hehe just doesn't have it, not closer material, hope he can stick as a middle reliever.

That's why is is an opinion, just like what you posted. In 20 years it will still be easy being the big 3 sports in America. Kids play it but the best athletes play other sports as they get older and that will continue in America.

We heard all this same stuff in 1992 when the US hosted it and then still nobody cared until 30+ years later. It's a nice story for a couple months. There is nothing more boring than a soccer game in my opinion. The average soccer game scores like 3 goals in 90+ minutes. Imagine if basketball had no shot clock today and every team ran a 4 corners offense and took a shot every 10 minutes. That's soccer. It's popular amongst young kids because any uncoordinated kid who can run can be on the team and not look completely terrible, he can blend in. And then they get a participation trophy.
