I agree. It's the best way to completely stop any shot at a big inning. Especially in the 5th inning. Goes against all analytics.

Just watched hagen for a couple innings. He doesn't look like anything special. Then i watched some college highlights and it looks like in college there was way more extension. He always threw funny but it looks worse now. His control is a bit better with only 2 walls and 1 hbp. But that's still not good

They were#1 all year 51-6. Need my ECU pirates to come back on UNC. Down 4-3. Hope the sox draft ethan norby, LHP in about the 5th round. We passed on gavin williams and trey yesavage the last few years. ECU puts out pros. 7 active mlb players now including alec burleson, Jeff hoffman. Norby is short but his movement is ridiculous. He's a pitcher and a warrior

I can honestly say Kay is getting it done these last 6 starts. Gives us 3 consistent starters, 2 rookies and Fedde. 1 if the rookies hopefully can do well enough. Need a 5th though.

Couldn't watch while at work. We are now the 2nd highest scoring team in the AL. This season so far is nothing short of a minor miracle. We legitimately can make the playoffs. Maybe Getz has a clue.
