  1. Defense over beni. Should have just pinch hit him
  2. Jesus. 3 in a row not hit hard enough to break a pane of glass
  3. Come on pope. Say a quick prayer. Change the luck
  4. Would colson try to hit the ball to the opposite field
  5. Just stupid baseball. Don't make the first out at 3rd stretching it
  6. I don't think anyone thought fedde would be any better than that. Castillo is irrelevant to bannister and the sox since he just got here. That surprises me about Kay. Honestly he gives us a chance to win every game and with a 9-5 record, a sub 4 ERA and getting better as the season goes on he has exceeded my expectations. I don't know what you expected but he hasn't had an ERA under 5.14 in 6 MLB seasons prior. What they are and what they are compared to expectations are 2 different things. We spent nothing on SPs so I feel we game exceeded expectations. Outside of Schultz of course. But we have to sign some guys next year. You can't have this rotation next year
  7. I'm not all for giving up on Colson but someone needs to look at his approach. 22 Ks in his last 37 ABs, only 4 walks says it is getting worse and not better. Maybe try to drive the ball the opposite way. The first pitch he should look for a pitch in a small box and don't swing if it's not there. Adam Sunn was considered the worst modern day player in terms of K % at about 35%. Colson is at 37% this year.
  8. Sox can take a really promising inning and really s%*# the bed sometimes
  9. I agree with you there. Smith is a complete bust. Schultz has been a disappointment and oppor a disaster. It's definitely concerning for the future
  10. No way to tell but overall I think we all can agree that the staff is much better than expected. Burke is a stud. Kay has been excellent and better than e thought. Martin has gone bad the last few weeks. Fedde has been fine and I think better than expected. Schultz has been the biggest disappointment.
  11. The numbers refute that. ERA 13th in mlb WHIP 14th Runs allowed 17th His allowed 10th Far from a disaster. Pretty much slightly above average And better than we all expected.
  12. Got to be with those numbers. Might be the only thing we salvage from that trade for cease.
  13. It's Crapa, not Capra. And after looking Vinny up I have to correct myself. Capra has a .133 career batting average so he is only slightly better than romo. Vinny is actually having a hell of a year in AAA for Boston
  14. Another stat. I found the lowest OPS in the last 30 years for players with 200 plate appearances. Drew is at 154 plate appearances i think. Drew Romo would be the 4th worst the last 30 years. Here are 3 worse.
