Jose is going to rip it up as the weather get hotter... and carry the offense on his back. Hopefully, with Eloy Jimenez and/or Luis Robert back in the line-up by August/September, Abreu won’t feel the need to press as much, during RBI producing scenarios. Remember, José is the reigning MVP, back-to-back AL RBI Leader and AL Player of the week. I’m confident he’ll be just fine.

The Indians had a .211/.291/.381/.672 team batting stat line coming into today's game (3rd worst in MLB). The Sox are facing the reigning AL Cy Young Winner tonight. Considering the crazy luck Cleveland has had (and the number of fruitless hard contact WS hitters have made) tonight, the Sox still gave a shot to come back in this game.

Clearly a rough outing for Cease. He never was able to establish a rhythm or command his slider and fastball. He was also way too fine is attempting to nibble the corners. I would love to see him attack hitters (like Lynn does). He undoubtedly has elite stuff. He needs to learn to trust it more... and the only remedy is the gain more MLB experience. I believe Dylan Cease will become a solid MLB starting pitcher (perhaps exceptional). To date, he only has 37 MLB starts covering 186 innings. IMO, It would be as absurd to count him out (at this early point in his MLB career) as it was to dismiss Lucas Giolito after his 2018 season.

In fairness... This White Sox team has lost a number of key players (Eloy Jimenez, Luis Robert and Adam Engel) along with others who are banged up... and yet, they (came into tonight’s game) 12 games over .500, with a 3 1/2 game lead in the division and possess the 2nd best winning percentage in the American League. They continue to demonstrate that this is a special team.

I was a great day for White Sox baseball. I’m extremely pleased and bullish on this team.

Well I (for one) feel humiliated and utterly defeated. I hereby bend the knee to your supreme magnificence and intellectual superiority.

I’m in Arizona and heard TRL’s comments on the MLB app radio stream.
-
I actually didn’t mind the TRL hire (in a vacuum). His problem with drinking and driving was the part that bothered me most.
-
I especially love the attempt at shaming (by copying and pasting as many comments as possible)... with the obvious attempt to add weight to his TRL (postgame comments backed) assertion.

LaRussa said as much during his post game Q & A. Transcribe and criticize after the fact... shear brilliance

Hendricks is like a cold blooded assassin closing out most games.
