I had no idea Brian Anderson was an assistant coach there. Best of luck to him. He always seemed like a decent fellow. This also allows me to bring up an old pet peeve of mine regarding Ozzie Guillen's managing. I still contend that if Ozzie would have just let Brian play the majority of the time in CF in 2006, they make the playoffs that year.

When we were dating, my wife attended many earlier season games with me....she no longer will do that. We still have the huge and warm White Sox blanket she had me buy her at one of those games. Another time, I brought my young son to an early season game...his bday is in early April. He enjoyed a hot chocolate from one of the vendors. Later, another vendor came along yelling "ice cold beer"....my 4 year old called out "none for me"

My guess is Brooks Boyer is an old David Letterman fan.
