When I got home last night, my better half was watching "Moneyball". Not the greatest movie but I sat down with it on in the background. What I thought was funny and never caught before, when Beane trades away Giambi and Pena, he also sends some guys to the minors.....one of those guys was Menechino. I laughed when I heard that and thought of this thread.

Barber's piece is without a doubt one of my favorite classical works. I too thought of this scene when I saw Platoon at the top of your list. Well done, Sir.

Talking about a terrific soundtrack...Platoon had that. Great movie as well.

I think Anderson has been good at that....maybe Luis is learning from Tim.

I couldn't really argue when my wife countered my argument of I didn't like the first movie with "but the flying stunts should be cool." Damn she's good at logic.

We were just at the movies yesterday and I gave a big thumbs down when the Top Gun trailer came on....my wife disagreed with my assessment.

I was intrigued by the trailer but not sure....the Dr Strange multiverse disappointed me a bit to be honest so that may be clouding my judgment.
