Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere, but what happens to those players on a 1 year contract or in the last year of their contract if the season is stopped now? Is EE signed for 2021 then? Is Nelson Cruz in his last year with the Twinkees in 2021?

I do not know the answer to this, but my wife told me about an article she read that there is a world class long distance runner who always wears a mask. So she asked me why can't they do that on a baseball field where they do not put out a consistent exertion like a marathoner. I said that I did not think that would work with baseball but I do not know for sure.

Honestly Ray, I see a lot of people not taking it seriously in Chicago. I have driven past Chicago Park district parks with Softball leagues in full swing. No social distancing or masks by the people watching the games or the players on the sidelines, right on top of each other drinking some cold ones.
