I really like McCann but I don't think there is any way the Sox extend him. He is a terrific luxury to have especially in this shortened season, but someone is going to pay him in free agency to be their starting catcher and I'm sure he will be gone. James McCann = Jim Essian....sometimes that just happens in baseball...and life.

To answer the OP question in short....yes I also hate him. Further thinking on this, I actually just hate the PTI show and I am surprised it is still on...anytime I stumbled upon the show I needed to turn it off quickly because they were such obnoxious blowhards.

Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere, but what happens to those players on a 1 year contract or in the last year of their contract if the season is stopped now? Is EE signed for 2021 then? Is Nelson Cruz in his last year with the Twinkees in 2021?
