  • Well this at least allows us to skip the bullpen day. I'm ok with this.

  • Yep couldn’t have worked out better. Tony was a genius to use all the relievers last night

  • The Sox won the series! On to the next one.

Like minds think somewhat alike.

Yeah this kind of worked out in our favor. I'm ok with it.

Given that today was a bullpen game with an already overworked bullpen, I welcome this postponement with open arms!

This is fantastic news

Gonna get two days off in the next three, so again that will be nice for the pen

Chalked up today’s game as a likely loss. Now with the off-day tomorrow the bullpen has enough time to regroup. Perfect for the Sox.

Just hope we don't see Bieber in one of those DH games on May 31st

TLR playing 4D chess yesterday. And we can't fall back under .500 if we don't play.

Today was a guaranteed loss with a bullpen day and facing Cyvale.

Didn't look like there was gonna be much weather in the area. Wonder if they cancelled it because of the temperature after last night. At most I saw .1 inches of snow projected which is nothing.

DH May 31

So now we have DHer against KC on May 14th and another one 2 1/2 weeks later.

Still better with minor starting in first week of May to get more looks at options like Lambert and Stiever.

Also, the minor league season extending to the end of September and playoffs into early October will be interesting to keep an eye on...what impact, if any, that has on teams/rosters.

Sounds like good days to start Kopech with the 7 inning games.

Probably also a financial decision as much as anything...get a much bigger crowd in around Memorial Day rather than freezing one’s butt off near the lake in April.

Not a ton of snow, but more than nothing.

While we are on the topic of double headers, does anyone else not hate playing 7 innings each? It definitely has taken some getting used to and still seems unnatural, but the games seemed more exciting with the potential for starters to actually go deep, and its nice to not have the bullpen get demolished just because of bad weather luck.

Of course, if we had lost both instead of winning both I might have the opposite opinion lol, and when a pitcher eventually throws a 7 inning no-hitter/perfect game, people are going to riot.
