In the playoffs you need 4 starters. There is Game 1, Game 2, off day, Game 3, Game 4. So 4 games in 5 days.

Here is the reality. We have a 7 year window to compete, this doesn't change even if we trade Dunning or Vaughn. The key is the ability to spend money when needed to plug holes as they pop up. Also have to draft the best talent you can regardless of position, and get one of the big International free agents we are in on.

Texas owes us for 23-11 and Mazara.

Who else we want from the Brewers.

Gio, DK, and (as a 5) Kopech will be fine movi g forward. If we want to truly contend, we need to more reliable guys. Rodon, Lopez, Gio G, Cease, and even Dunning ain't it right now. We will lose 2 seasons of playoff time waiting on them.

I guess stretching Cease out against the Cubs will be undone by today's outing.
