Tribe lose if we win first by ourselves.

I think people are going to be disappointed with our pitching moving forward for a few weeks. Teams will figure our young guys out and they will start to struggle. Adjustments will need to be made to counteract it. We will see what these guys are made of and how they handle it.

To be fair, his arm blew out after those starts, so that point is not valid for his future potential. We need to see it in action in MLB games first. I still think he has a CY Young in him if he puts forth the effort.

Depth only wins titles when you quality. We need 3 really good starters and another quality starter to win multiple titles. If we don't get it this offseason, we are probably punting title runs in 20 and 21. The Twins should show us average rotation plus great lineup is a tough recipe for success if you want titles.

The concern for me is that there aren't any FA options worth big money to be TOR guys, and if we aren't trading any talent for good arms now, we won't in the offseason. Cease, Dunning, and Kopech likely won't be playoff good until 2022 or even 2023 as it usually takes a few years for pitchers to find their way.

There were other smaller moves that would have helped. Hell, the Cubs bolstered their bullpen with 4 arms. The reality is, our guys have no trade value, which is concerning.

Well, all we can do is hope he is good like the rest of the young guys. I think we are gonna flame out in the best of three with this pitching but hopefully we can address it in the offseason.

Well, my gear is that our guys aren't capable of making those put you over the top moves. Many teams have had loaded rosters and don't win because they can't get over the jump.

I think we get a TOR starter for less talent than we thought. No way we are finishing this year and heading into next season without 3 high quality arms with experience. Dunning is someone who can be good but he has faced the Tigers and Royals so far. Cease and Lopez may need a year or two to find their command. Kopech will need a season or two to find his way. Rodon is a non factor in the rotation moving forward with his injuries. I just think they make a deal for a starter.
